A Gift For Two Chapter 5

AJ spent the whole day shopping around and looking for the same watch as the one Joy had. He kept her broken one, so he'll be able to fine the exact same one. "Excuse me sir, but do you have a watch modeled exactly the same as this one?" AJ showed the watch to the owner. "Yeah.. let me check," the man went to the back room and came back out. "Here..." he showed AJ the watch. It was exactly the same one as the broken one. "Okay.. finally.." he sighed. He had gone to other stores but none carried the same one. "How much is it?" he asked. "$685.00" The man answered. "Okay.. here.." he handed the man a credit card.

AJ paid for it and left. He got in his car and looked at the clock. 6:30. "Great! I'm gonna be late," he put the car into gear and headed to Joy's place.

Marie decided to call Nick. "Hello?" Brian picked up the phone. "Hi, may I speak to Nick please?" Marie asked politely. "Hold on.." Brian covered the mouth piece and yelled for Nick from upstairs. "NICK! PNOHE!" Marie could still hear Brian calling for Nick even though he covered the mouth piece. "Hello?" Nick picked up the phone from his room. "Hey Nick, can you go out tonight?" Marie asked. "Yeah, sure. Where do you want to go?" "Anywhere. I don't really know this place. And I don't know anyone here. You and AJ are the only people I know, but AJ's going out with Joy tonight." "All right, I'll be over at 7:30." "Okay." And the two hung up.
