Paulo Benedeti

Paulo is originally from Columbia where he was born on August 3, 1975. He moved to the U.S. with his family when he was seven years old. One day in South Miami Beach, a friend asked him to go with her to a local modeling agency. So he went with her to her interview. The modeling agency was impressed with his good looks and charm and signed him immediately. Since then, Paulo has been on the pages of numerous national and international magazines, catalogues and editorials.

Paulo was born on August 3rd (which makes him a Leo) and he is 6 feet tall. After coming to America his family settled in Boco Raton, FL where he grew up. He has an older brother Juan Carlos and a sister Giovanna. He went to school to study computer science and engineering and the most unusual job he has ever had was a french fry cook. He gets mad at people who lack common sense, and his pet peeve is saying "I should of", but says that everything else makes him happy. Paulo says his role model is his father and his greatest wish is to continue his path to success. His secret ambition is to someday start a music career. His biggest fear is accidents and the one thing he would like to change about himself is his short temper. Paulo considers his greatest achievment being on the Guiding Light and his biggest regret was giving his parents a hard time when he was growing up. Paulo's favorite charity is Zoe's Summer Groove, his favorite actor is Sean Connery, actress Sandra Bolluck. His favorite TV show is Beyond 2000, Next step, his favorite song is "One Love" by Bob Marley and his favorite book is Behold the Pale Horse. His favorite singer is Roger Waters and his favorite color is forest green. Paulo's favorite place to shop is Banana Republic and his favorite piece of jewelry is his watch. Paulo's favorite junk food is frozen fruit popsicles, favorite soft pink pink lemonade with sprite, favorite ethnic foods Thai, calmari. Paulo's favorite Holiday is Christmas and his favorite period in history is the 60's. Paulo's favorite cologne is Cool Water and his good luck charm is Agnus Day. Paulo cant resist women and his favorite music is Rock, Reggae. Paulo thinks his personality is his best quality and remembering his lines for the Guiding Light is his worst. His favorite sports are basketball, surfing and snow boarding and his favorite spectator sport is Soccer.

Paulo is also a host on the teen talk show Hall Pass which will begin airing on September 27, and he has worked on the Syndicated Saturday morning kids show Out of the Blue. He also has a small part in the movie Wild Things, which is being filmed now.

Unlike Guiding Light, Hall Pass will give you the chance to see Paulo as he really is not as Jesse(not that we mind seeing him as Jesse). If Hall Pass is not scheduled to air in your area you can write your TV Stations and Networks and tell them you want to see it. The more people who write the better the chances they will bring the show to your area.
