Nikita

Clothes:

Of all the spy grrls, Nikita is the hippest and best dressed. Her clothes are contemporary with a slightly alternative edge and she's not afraid to use colour. More importantly they look good. Her look is a mixture of skater-chic, cyber-chic, and old-fashioned spy professionalism. To achieve the Nikita look start by checking out your local sportswear store for Addidas style jackets and sweatpants. Then head over to Dollhouse or X-Girl for some skirts and tops. Finally stop off at A-Wear for a bunch of suits.. In the more recent seasons Nikita's look has gone totally upscale so go check out Prada, Dolce & Gabana, and all the other major labels for that tortured spy grrl look

Hair:

Breaking away from the traditional spy grrl bob, Nikita has long, straight, blond hair with a few bangs. Generally her hair is kept straight and occasionally her bangs are spiked up but sometimes the hairstyles go really bizarre involving crimping or curling. For a really scary look check out the episode "Verdict" where she is sporting a really nasty poof.

Shoes:

Nikita wears them all. Boots, sneakers, heels (can I say I am not impressed with those stilettos she's taken to wearing), no heels. Go out buy shoes, just make sure they're hip. Check out Prada, Manola Blahnik and Jimmy Choo.

Accessories:

Nikita is never ever without a pair of sunglasses and she is rarely seen with the same pair twice. She is not picky about style and maintains a sense of coolness in them all. Nikita often carries bags such as backpacks or over-the-shoulder bags. They always contain a gun and cell phone and they always go with her outfit.

Make-up:

As with her clothes, Nikita uses different make-up styles. Quite often her make-up will be translucent as in the nude look or else will wear just a pale pink lipstick. She wears nailpolish in the current fashionable colours which can be found in any drug store although I prefer Hard Candy or Urban Decay. Occasionally she will go glam such as below.

Vices:

She collects sunglasses, has this hangup about being a human, and is in love with Michael.

Sidekick:

Nikita works for Section One, a clandestine government organization and therefore is part of a team. The people she works most closely with are Michael (her mentor and love interest), Madeline (a mother-figure and boss), Operations (boss, father figure) Walter(weapons guy), and Birkoff (computer guy).

Attitude:

Nikita was put into jail for a crime she didn't commit (killing a policeman) and was then forced to die or accept a position with Section One so she is not a happy grrl. A sense of injustice lies within her and she fights to break away from the Section. She is not happy with the role of spy and longs for the day when she will be free which is not to say she can't do her job. Nikita can be brutal and will kill even if it bothers her conscience. She cannot trust anyone except herself and every time she lets herself go (like with Michael) she ends up getting hurt but she cannot help being this way, being human.
