Jeffrey Brandon Timmons was born on April 30th, 1973, in Canton, OH. He attended Washington High School and Kent State University. While studying psychology, he decided to move to Los Angeles in pursue of an acting career. He landed a few jobs, including a commercial for the U.S. Navy, but he discovered that his true love was in music...
It all happened one night at a party. A few girls asked Jeff and his friends to sing for them, so they did. Everyone loved Jeff so much that he decided to go for it! Because of this, Jeff Timmons is the founding member of 98º. A close friend introduced him to Nick. Then, Nick brought Justin, whom he had sung with in some barbershop quartets before. Lastly, Nick added his little brother, Drew, and 98º was formed!
