Of Thunder is a spinoff of the hit show, Walker, Texas Ranger. The original
characters; Trent and Tommy Malloy and Trent's best friend Carlos Sandoval
apeared in the two hour movie on the 5th of March 1997 and they were an
immediate hit. The three characters went on to appear in five more episodes
in the next season, season 6, and 12 more during the seventh season. Since
December of 1998 they have been filming episodes and now beginning on March
6, 1998, they will take Walker's timeslot and SOT will appear for the next
six weeks. I have heard rumors that there may be new episodes also running
throughout the summer but nothing is for certain yet.
