The Slayer
and her Slayerettes
Buffy
Buffy
(Sarah Michelle Gellar) just wants to be a regular kid. She moved
to Sunnydale to get away from her calling as the Vampire Slayer.
Unfortunately for her, she moved right on top of the hellmouth.
But she has made some good friends, some good fiends, and a
boyfriend turned enemy turned boyfriend. She takes all of this in
stride contemplating life with her watcher while staking
vampires, and she manages to do it all without messing her hair
or smearing her makeup (although it does result sometimes in a
broken nail or two.)
Xander
Xander
is Buffy's right hand man. He always has a hand to lend and a
wisecrack to say. Xander developed an instant crush on Buffy and
asked her to a school dance but she turned him down saying that
she only thought of him as a friend. He's started dating Cordilia
as of late but we all know he still has feelings for Buffy. And
recently he told Willow he loved her as she lay in a coma. Is it
platonic or something more? All we know is that Xander is always
after what he can't have.
Willow
Willow,
the quiet, computer savy friend of Buffy's silently carried a
torch for Xander for the longest time. She's now met Oz, a blase
member of a local band "Dingoes Ate My Baby" and the
two make a really adorable couple. She's always been Buffy and
Xander's main supporter. Always there with a shoulder to cry on
and an ear to listen, she's become an invaluable resource for
their heartache and trauma.
Cordilia
Cordy
(not though her own wishes) has slowly become a part of the
slayerettes. Her and Xander used to fight like cats and dogs
until one day that burning hate became a burning desire and they
started making out in broom closets, too ashamed to tell their
friends. Finally, their secret came to light and they've been
going out since (although they still fight constantly). Cordy has
slowly been becoming less and less selfish and is actually
beginning to become a resource to the gang.
Rupert Giles
Giles
is Buffy's watcher. It is his duty to train and protect her and
he tries his best. He is very devoted to his slayer and would
sooner put his life on the line than hers. Always available for a
long explaination or a bit of Brittish humor, Giles has proven
himself invaluable to the gang time and time again.
Oz
Oz has just been
recently introduced to the gang. He took the existance of
vampires extremely well stating that it explained a lot. He is a
guitarist for the band "Dingoes Ate My Baby". He is
extremely in love with Willow. He's also a warewolf. Bitten by
his cousin, Oz becomes a large wolf 3 days in the month. Willow
doesn't mind though - as she says, three days out of the month,
she's not too fun to be around either.
RIP
Jenny Callender (Jana)
Jenny,
the computer science teacher, began her relationship with Giles
much as Cordy and Xander began theirs. A bitter hate developed
into a deep love. However, when it came to light that Jenny
Callender was actually Jana, of the gypsy tribe that cursed Angel
for his deeds, both Buffy and Giles felt bitterly betrayed. Giles
had just forgiven her and she had just discovered how to re-curse
Angel, when Angel, deciding he was quite happy soul-less, broke
her neck thus instantly killing her.
Kendra
the Vampire Slayer
Kendra was called
when Buffy died, although Buffy was only gone for a minute. She
was trained from birth to be a slayer and it was quite surprise
when she showed up in Sunnydale and tried to kill Angel and even
Buffy (whom she thought was a vampire because she saw her kissing
Angel). The two slayers, although with extremely different points
of view, teamed up together to fight the Order of Turraca and,
Spike and Dru. She returned to her country for a while but then
was sent back to Sunnydale by her watcher when Angel was trying
to wake Accathala. Drucilla killed her by slitting her throat
with Dru's french manicured nail after hyptonising her.
Angel
Angel was once a
young man who lived in Ireland. Bitten by Darla, an evil vampire,
he became one of the greatest plagues to mankind until a gypsy
curse returned his soul. He then lived on the streets of New York
feeding on rats until a good demon asked if he would like to help
Buffy. He showed in Sunnydale every once in a while to offer the
slayer a cryptic warning. Slowly, sparks began to fly and despite
them both fighting it, the slayer and reformed vampire fell in
love. Angel was sweet and devoted. He protected Buffy with his
all until one night of passion between the two stripped him of
that returned soul. He returned to his evil ways and was about to
awaken Accathala to bring Hell on earth, when Willow recursed him
with his soul. But it was too late, Accathala had been awoken and
Buffy was faced with no choice but to send him to hell to close
the vortex Accathala was creating.

Demons and Other Creatures for information on Angel when he was evil)
