Chapter 3

William slept by Serena's side the whole night holding her tight and as close as he possibly could. At around 4 a.m. she woke breathing heavy any crying. She awakened William who held her and whipered, "Shhhh...it'll be alright." She found this somewhat comforting and quieted down. They laid there staring at each other for a few minutes. Serena just said "Thank you," and went back to sleep. William smiled and fell back asleep too.
