The Betrayel

Sean gets ready to go out on his big date with Emily. They are going to a party at The Deep, then hopefully home to his place, where they can finally be alone. Shock Wave is closed down for repairs and Amy will not be around to interfere with them. For once.
There is a knock on the door. Sean answers. Leo is there. Even though their families are enemies, Sean and Leo have become friends. Sean doesn't judge people based on who their parents are. He figures that if people did that to him, they will automatically not like him because his dad is Gregory.
Leo hands Sean a note. "It's from Emily," he says.
Sean tears open the note and reads it. It says, "Dear Sean, I don't know how to say this to you in person so I am writing it instead. You are a great guy but I don't love you. I can't keep going out with you because you are moving too fast and it is all wrong for me. Please don't try to talk to me about this. I want to just break up once and for all and not see you again at all for a while. Please understand. Emily."
Sean's face goes white. "What's wrong?" Leo asks.
"Emily dumped me," says Sean in shock. "The love of my life doesn't care. Our big date is off." Then he thinks of something. "It isn't true. Emily didn't write this note."
"How could you know that?" Leo demands.
"Amy must have faked it," Sean says. "Remember that e-mail she and Brad faked, the one where they had me saying to Emily that I never wanted to see her again? They have a lot of experience in lying. That must be it."
"Nope," Leo replies. "Emily handed the note to me personally. She wrote it herself."
Sean looks like he is going to cry. Leo pats him on the back and leaves him alone. He goes to The Deep where Emily is waiting for Sean. He hands her a note.
Emily reads the note. It says, "Dear Emily, I don't know how to say this to you in person so I am writing it. You are a great girl but I don't love you. I can't keep going out with you because you are moving too fast and it is all wrong for me. Please don't try to talk to me about this. I want to just break up once and for all and not see you again at all for a while. Please understand. Sean."
"No," gasps Emily, "Sean loves me, I know he does."
"I'm sorry," Leo tells her. "Sean handed that note to me personally."
Emily breaks down crying. Leo takes her in his arms. "It'll be all right," he says, smiling behind her back. His secret plan to break up Sean and Emily has worked!
Leo and Emily start dating and Sean never learns the truth about the faked note. He falls into Amy's clutches. Brad is the only one who is left alone. So just about everyone ends up happy.
