24 Hours By Emily

It was a Friday night and I was out with Sean. Amy and Brad also tagged along as always. You see, Amy is Sean's ex-girlfriend and she despises me because Sean and I are in love and because of that, Sean doesn't even give Amy a second glance.

Anyway, tonight we went to the "Shockwave" for our date. Sean and I were in a private conversation when Amy interrupted us by asking Sean if he would be her partner for the extreme sports competitions. Sean told her that he had already signed up with me as his partner. Amy was furious and she stormed out of the restuarant. Brad followed her eating a submarine sandwich. What we didn't know was that Amy would cause a scene as she was leaving. She got up on an empty table and yelled I love Sean Richards. Sean got furious with her and he told Amy he didn't love her and he never will. He also told her that he will always love me and only me. Amy was crushed. She threw a chair at the huge lights on the ceiling and coincidentally they were on top of me.

I started screaming and Sean pushed me out of the way and the lights landed on him. I screamed for him and kneeled beside him and I started crying. Brad called the ambulance. Amy couldn't believe what she had done to the man she so-called "loved." When the ambulance arrived, they took Sean to the hospital. I followed them in Sean's car.

When I got to the hospital, Sean was rushed into the emergency room. To kill time, I called Sean's mom Olivia, and my mom, Bette. As soon as Olivia and mom arrived, Sean was brought out of the ER. Tyus Robinson, our doctor, told us that he's not sure if he'll be able to to live. If he can make it through the next 48 hours he might have a chance. When Tyus said that it broke my heart and I fainted.

When I woke up I started crying so hard. Then I realized Sean needed me. I stormed out of the room to go find him. His room was on the next level. Sean was laying there with all these wires attached to him. I hated him like that. And I thought it was all Amy's fault. Just then Amy came into the room and I dragged her outside and I had a huge argument with her. I slapped her in the face when I told her it was her fault that Sean was lying in a hospital room. Then I went back to Sean's room. I stayed with him for 48 hours. There was still no sign of Sean waking up. At that point I knew he wouldn't make it. I was about to leave the room to go tell Olivia and mom the bad news when all of a sudden Sean called my name. I turned around and he was awake and smiling. I hugged and kissed him, he made it! I made him promise never to leave me all alone and he never did.
