How can you help?
Soap Fan InterActive(SFIA) is growing everyday! We'd like a way for fans of the same soap(s) can help each other out. This would help me out. I barely have time to watch soaps these days, let alone give content advice to a site, whose soap I know nothing about. This is where you may come in.
The helpers I select will have the opportunity to host themed chats about their favorite soap and webpage creation, assist on the message board, reviewing sites in the queue, and inviting cool sites to join. I'm estimating about 5 + hours per week per SFIA helper.
I'm looking for 4 people to start out with, one for each network, and one for those who don't fall in to one of the major network category.
Helpers!
Nicole, the owner of Jake and Vicky Forever is currently helping me out. Thanks Nicole, you're heavensent!
Help? Help! I need Help!
What is the Soap Fan InterActive Web Ring all about?
Soap Fan InterActive(SFIA) is a ring of soap opera oriented web sites with fun things to do. By being a member of the ring,
you will recieve increased hits to your site and recieve support from your fellow ring members. The Soap Fan InterActive Web
Ring does not place limits based on the type of shows the participants enjoy.
What are the qualifications for sites in the Soap Fan InterActive web ring?
Well, you need to have a website dedicated to a soap opera, it's actors, it's characters, or it's fans. The second criteria is that you have some sort of means of interaction (polls, message boards, and chat rooms are good examples.) Then just fill out the form and paste the code you're provided with on your website and you're done! You can just sit back and enjoy the exchange.
Email me!
Hey! Why haven't I been added yet?
OK, here's the deal.Either the web bot isn't seeing the code, codes are getting placed on the wrong page, or forgotten altogether. You can help me to know when you've installed the code by emailing me when your code is up! Thanks.
OR, say you've registered www.mypage.com but put the code on www.mypage.com/code.html/. It may not register and is not fair to the people who've done it right.
"But why is it not fair? I have the code up!" Ah, yes. You joined the ring to get more exposure from people who may like your site. So did everyone else. By putting the code on a special page and pointing the link to your homepage, you are probably getting visits from other SFIA sites, but probably sending less visitors on.
"Ok, ok. So, what should I do about it?" You can put the code on your registered page. *Yay* You can register the page with you webring code on it. *Yay* You can be a baby and remove your site from the ring altogether. *Not so Yay*
Please email me When such changes are made.
I need to edit my site info. How do I do that?
If you need to edit your site information (URL, password, description, etc.) enter your site id and password below.
I have a question or comment. What should I do with it?
I found an even better way for me to help those of you with questions or code trouble. The pannel below is an ICQ instant message pannel. Put your message there and it will be sent directly to me, if I'm online. If I'm not online, it will be right there, in my face, as soon as I log on. Some of you know that I travel back and forth between states, so sometimes it takes a while for me to respond to email.... this will practically eliminate the wait, because ICQ is accessible to me from both computers. YAY!
This is what your web ring fragment code should look like. Do not copy this image. You will recieve your code once you join.
