    Born in Los Angeles, California, the youngest daughter of  Naomi Judd and Michael Ciminella.  She now resides in Malibu, Ca.  Ashley attended Franklin High School in Franklin Tennessee and graduated in 1986.  Ashley attended the University of Kentucky and majored in French. She graduated in 1990 Phi Beta Kappa..

      She was named one of "The 50 Most Beautiful People In The World" by People Magazine in 1996.
