Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield woke up to the sound of someone, two someones,
in the kitchen early Saturday morning. Something in the air smelled good so the
twins jumped out of bed and together went into the kitchen to investigate. They
both found their wonderful boyfriends, Todd Wilkins and Nick Fox, preparing a
big breakfast. Todd and Nick laughed when they saw the twins shocked faces.
When breakfast was over, the guys told the twins to go get dress because they
were taking them to a day away from school. Liz and Jess squealed with delight.
They ran into the bedroom and decided what to wear. Jessica, of course, chose an
outfit that made traffic stop. A dark navy blue mini skirt with a white halter
top that shows off her nice tan. She took out a shoe box that contained her new
dark navy blue sandals. She put her hair up in a loose french twist that looked
sophisticated but ready for fun type. Her finishing touches were her makeup.
Elizabeth, on the other hand, had on a simple dress. The dress was a nice baby
blue color, with white, green, purple and pink flowers, that brings out her
eyes. She had her hair in a loose ponytail. She had on a baby blue sandals and
some light makeup. Jessica was always complaining to Liz that Liz should put on
a more SEXY look. Today Jessica took one look at Liz and smiled. Liz knew that
Jessica approved of her outfit. The twins grabbed their purses and went
downstairs to meet the guys. Todd and Nick took the twins to a carnival that was held at Secca Lake. They had a lot of fun. After playing at the carnival since 10:30, they went out to a nice quiet restaurant for dinner. Todd and Nick started to talk about the football game that was held on Wednesday night. Liz and Jess had a heated conversation about what to wear to the dance on Monday night. Liz notice that Todd and Nick were awfully quiet. She turned towards Todd and laughed out loud. Todd and Nick had on a goofy look. Suddenly Todd and Nick kneeled down and took out a small box in their pocket. Jessica and Liz took one look at the box and then up at each other and smiled. Todd and Nick both said in unison, "Would you marry me?" Elizabeth and Jessica looked at each other one more time than looked at the guys and said in unison, "YES!!" Todd, Nick, Liz, and Jess jumped up and hugged each other. When they were settled down, Todd and Nick got the restaurants other guest's attention and announced their proposal. Todd and Nick took the twins to their parents house to announce the news of their marriage. Alice and Ned Wakefield supported the idea of having both their beautiful daughters marry the two most generous men on the planet. Ned took their most finest and fanciest goblets out to make a toast. The two newly engaged couples next went to Todd's house to give Todd's parents the good news. They supported him too because they knew how much in love Todd and Liz were. The next day Todd, Nick, Liz, and Jess decided to have both their weddings on the same date. |
