I'm so……… mad at Todd right now, Diary. He is so……… overprotective. Today at camp Kevin came up to me and asked if I wanted to team up with him on the wheelbarrow race and I said yes. But then Todd came up to us and shouldered his way between Kevin and me. He told the camp director that we would take the wheelbarrow race without asking if I wanted to be his partner. He just assumes that we would be partners since we're boyfriend and girlfriend. I keep telling Todd that I can take care of myself and I asked him what was his problem. He said that he didn't like Kevin very much. Then I asked him why and he said that I should steer clear of Kevin. That's all. I sure did tell him off, Diary. I told him that just because he doesn't like Kevin doesn't mean everybody have to hate Kevin. And he shouldn't tell other people not to because they could make their own friends and so could I.

Then at the Beach Disco Todd and me were dancing and Kevin tap Todd lightly on the shoulder and asked if he can cut in to dance with me for awhile. Todd gave Kevin the evil eye but didn't say anything. While Kevin and me were dancing, I looked over at where Todd was sitting and he was just watching us like Kevin was going to rape or even kill me. When the song ended Todd came rushing up to us and came between us again. He told Kevin that Jessica was looking for him. I turned to look at Jessica and saw that she was dancing with this guy I didn't recognise. I wondered why Todd just lied to Kevin. I didn't ask him though. But I did ask why he was raging like a beast out to kill. Todd told me that he just didn't want me to dance with Kevin anymore. I told him that I could dance with whomever I wanted to. He then gave me the sad looking face and wrapped his arms firmly around me. I didn't hug back though. I got out of his embrace and walked over to our table and didn't get up until we were going home. While I was waiting Kevin came by after each song and tried to cheer me up. Todd was sitting there watching us with this angry face. Kevin made me laugh a little. We walking towards the cars, which were parked next to each other, Todd opened the passenger side but I just looked at the door and then at Kevin. Kevin asked if he could give me a ride home, since he was going to have to drop Jessica at the same house. I told him that would be great. When I got in the car I looked outside the window and at Todd's face. He was starring at me like I had made the worst decision in my whole entire life. When we were all settled in the car I asked Kevin and Jessica if they want to go to the mall and get some ice cream. Both of them said yes since it was my treat. We joked all the there and back to my house. I realised that I had more fun with Kevin than I had with Todd in a long time. I wondered if we needed to take some time apart from each other. Each day that passes while we are at camp, Todd and I grow more distant. I can't read Todd's thoughts anymore. I don't know what to do Diary.

Dear Diary,

Today at camp we were taking all the campers on a nature hike. Todd was walking so…… close to me that at one point on the narrow trail I was almost knocked off the path. Todd said he wanted to be close to me, but it was a strange kind of close. He didn't seem to be enjoying my company. He didn't want to talk or hold my hand. He was just watching me. There was a fox up ahead so all the campers got excited and ran over to the fox. I counted their heads to make sure I had everybody but one was missing. I knew who it was. Calvin Kimball. He was the hardest to keep track of. I ran off to look for him. When I found him we headed back to the trail. Suddenly Kevin popped out from behind a tree. He told me he saw me sprinting off. Kevin thought I might need some help so he asked Jessica to watch his cluster of campers for a minute. Kevin, Calvin and me took only a few steps when we were startled by the crackle of branches breaking. All of a sudden, Todd burst through the trees, a wild look in his brown eyes. Todd yelled out my name and then Kevin's name. He cried out what was Kevin doing to me. I asked him who was watching the Eagles. He told me that no one was. Kevin was trying hard not to smile. I thought he was amused by the way Calvin was squirming in her grasp. It's getting hard for me to decide if I should or shouldn't break up with Todd, Diary. I don't know what to do.
