From around the merrily flickering fire, you hear the faint strains of music being played. Curious, you follow the sound of the music and it leads you to a chinese girl who you assume can only be An-Yi playing a tune on a strange looking instrument. She smiles at you, hands you another strange instrument with sheet music and invites you to play with her, all without skipping a beat. You grin and begin to play the upbeat song with her.
This section is for the musically inclined among us. Now you can print out the notes to your favorite Gang of Three Songs and play them on whatever instrument you may be able to play! Myself, I can only play the piano and flute, so all my music books are easy piano, but I believe the notes can be translated into any instrument that uses the treble clef. Right now, only I'll Make a Man Out of You Reprise is avalible, but if I get enough positive response, I'll put up A Girl Worth Fighting For as well. :-) Let me know if you would like to see it!
You study the pictures and your brow furrows. You don't seem to remember this scene in the movie...
This are obvious stills from "Mulan" that are used as an illustration in the Mushu's Chapters book and in early advertisements. They aren't used in the movie, but looks like it must be a scene from when Mulan first rides into Wu Zhong (You know, before her chicken-with-a-stomach-ache strut ;). In any case, until Mulan comes to ABC--and there's a sequel to promote--we'll never know. If you know anything about it, we'd like to know. Please email An-Yi or Lien
You stand off to the side of the camp a bit, still not certain about joining right in with the others, when you spy a flash of red and movment at your feet. Jumping to the side, you realize it's a snake coming from the brush behind you...with a purple bug following it...? Before you can examine it closer, it turns indignatly towards you. It's eyes widen--almost as much as yours--and in an instant it has scrambled up your chest, with a talon in your face. Talon? Snakes don't...maybe it's a lizard? "I no' what ya thinking, so don't even say it!" Still trying to collect your thoughts (Snakes/Lizards don't talk! Why is that bug looking at me? What sort of accent is it this snake-like-lizard has??) you think it best to just comply. You shake your head in argeement. Nodding, the snake relaxes. "Just don't tell anyone 'bout me. I'm with Ping. Gonna make 'im a hero an' all," the lizard says nonchallantly. "An' I can't do that if he ain't 'bondin'' with the guys. That means findin' 'em out, ya know." You nod again. The snake props itself on it's tail and observes the nearby Gang.
"Speaking of 'pretty boy Shang,'" Ling thinks aloud, "Do you think he'll ever find our hide-a-way? And...what will he do to us when he finds it?" Yao looks up at Ling, his mouth trailing as he tries to answer him. "Uhhh..." Chien-Po looks around in the darkness at the edge of the Secret Camp, worriedly. "He was the one that taught us those tracking skills..."
