Davy, Micky, Peter, and Mike

Updated 6/20/00

Well, this is my second big Monkees kick. The first one started in '95. In the summer. 5 years later and we're back to square one! I have ALOT of stuff I've gathered over the years though so I can just wallow in my obsession ;o)
Well, as you probably guessed, I am a BIG fan of the Monkees. I don't have much to put up on this page about them that hasn't already been put, but I will post up my good friend's, Washy (who collaborates with some other ppl), stories about those great Monkees! they are really cool. Anyway, there are several albums out in stores by the Monkees. These include:
  • The Monkees
  • More Of the Monkees
  • Headquarters
  • Headquarters:Sessions
  • Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn and Jones LTD
  • The Birds the Bees and the Monkees
  • Head
  • Instant Replay
  • The Monkees Present
  • Changes
  • Pool It!
  • Justus
  • Missing Links Volume 1
  • Missing Links Volume 2

  • I'm A Believer and Other Hits
  • Listen to the Band Boxed Set
  • Rhino Greatest Hits
  • Arista Greatest Hits
  • Then and Now... The Best of the Monkees
  • The Monkees Talk Downunder
  • Dolenz, Jones, Boyce and Hart
  • I've also got the Video boxed set, Head, Hey Hey We're The Monkees book and video, a crappy recording of the 30th Anniversary TV Special, a Monkees watch, a Monkees lunchbox (Not THE Lunchbox, but a cool little luchbox type tin), Micky's autobiography, and a postcard.

There are other compilations that have different arrangements of the old songs, sometimes with new versions or hard to find tracks. Their show is on cable now, and can also be purchased on tape either in pairs or all together in the video boxed set. They've been around for about 30 years and the still continue to draw quite a big fan crowd. Alot of ppl think that we Monkees nuts are, in fact, NUTS, but truth be told, there are QUITE alot of us around. I, along with alot of others I know, have thought that we were all alone in liking the Monkees, but found out that there are MANY MANY more fans, and to all varying degrees. So if you like the Monkees but have been ridiculed among other things, then search for the MULTITUDE of pages on this "groovy" group and check out the many IRC Monkees channels.
