Charlie Schlatter, who is now on "Diagnosis Murder", previously starred in the title role in the series "Ferris Bueller". He also starred in the television movie Stormy Weather with Cybill Shepherd. His movies include Bright Lights, Big City; 18 Again with George Burns; Ed; Heartbreak Hotel; All-American Murder; Sunset Heat; and the Australian feature The Delinquents. In 1997, he appeared with Bill Cosby in a special episode of the CBS drama series "Touched by an Angel". He was born and raised in Fair Lawn, Bergen County, New Jersey, and began acting in student productions during junior high school. He starred in numerous plays at Ithaca College, where he obtained a BFA in musical theater. He also became a skilled musician, playing guitar, drums, and piano and writing songs. He spent his summers appearing in summer stock. His birth date is May 1, 1966.
