David Cubitt appeared in only a few episodes of the first season of Lonesome Dove: The Series ("the perky years"). However, his character has created alot of discussion and interest among fans. We can only speculate that this is related to his character's very close association with the character of Clay Mosby. Robert is that link to his past, the voice of reason, etc. etc. With that in mind...we felt he was deserving of a little page - so here it is. BTW, David is currently starring in TURKS on CBS. The fate of the show seems a little shaky, but last we heard, it was still on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. (EST)

Robert disappeared after a few episodes. He was to be hung and somehow disappeared from the shed they were using as a jail. He came back and Mosby operated on him and removed a bullet (YUK!). We haven't had a chance to review all of our episodes to be sure, but usually if the facts are wrong, someone will step forward to correct them. E-mail us if you know something we missed.
