#2 - The Missing Scene
This contest is closed. Check out the current one by going back to the Contest Page, or stay to see this contest's theme and winners.

The theme: Okay, think about the movie (As if you ever did anythign else. (*grins*)

After the Delancey's attack Sarah, and Jack soaks them, they have this short conversation:
"What, you couldn't stay out of it?"
"I can't be what I ain't."
"A scab?"
"No, smart."

And then the next thing we see is Jack knocking on Denton's door.

What happens in between?

They have to talk, obviously. I don't think that right after Jack says no "No, smart," they all wordlessly set out for Denton's.
But what did they say? Was david still mad at Jack for a while?
Did they drop by the Jacobs' place? I think so, because in the scene at Denton's Jack doesn't wear his collar and jacket anymore, and he must have left them somewhere, besides they probably picked up the article, unless Sarah had it with her. (But you don't have to agree with me, this doens't influence your chances to win. :-) )
Did they go to the lodging house? Tibby's? If they did, what did they do there?

Just think about this, and write the missing scene.

You can write it in 'script style', or 'story style', doesn't matter.

Some things you have to remember, though:

-Timeframe: Your scene can't encompass more than a few hours. Depeding on what you want to happen, you have certain liberty here: It was quite early when the Delanceys attacked Sarah, and we never learn how late it is when they knock at Denton's. It's already dark when they sneak into the cellar, but that doens't say much, it'd depend on how long the planning took.
This means you can take everythign from less than an hour to, say...twelve or so. But not some days!
-Logic: You can not do anything that contradicts what later happens. For example, you can't kill Sarah, even if you hate her (I like her, btw). You also can't have them win the strike yet.
-Disney: That's right, you're writng a scene for a Disney movie. So, nothing they wouldn't show.
Have fun! :-)
