Networking is a tool that single handedly can transform our world into a Paradise. According to the book Megatrends by John Nasbitt, written back in the 1980's, it is one of the ten most powerful process to effect change on our world.

A Definition: Networking is the physical manifestation of the spiritual hierarchy. Networking is an example of the interconnectiveness that we share with each other and our universe. On a more pratical level it is the collecting and sharing of information and resources by various individuals and groups to accomplish a specific goal or project. The key word here is sharing. The Internet, is a network of computers all over the world who are allowing humanity to quickly interactive with each other and share information and experiences on any subject imaginable to Man. A Network is a group of individuals and organizations who have some common theme or activities that draw them together to work cooperatively which results in the empowerment of each individual member. A Networker is an individual who collects and shares information (usually on a specific range of topics) or is a catalyst for bringing together people and organization of like mind. Thus the author of this short description about NA NET Global is an Aquarian Age Networker.

NA NET GLOBAL -- The idea for the creation of NA NET is discussed in my first book, Journeys of an Aquarian Age Networker (1982). In the chapter about Networking, I offered a vision of how to create a computer networking system which would provide their local New Age community a tool to quickly access and link various people and resources through computer generated request matches. Then as NA NET expanded to include many member cities (geographic regions) it would grow into a global network utilizing on-line access via modems like on the Internet, providing city to city communication.

NA NET Global is a continuation of this vision on the Internet as we pull together and invite other New Age orientated Web Sites to join us. Using the modern tools of today, including Web Pages and Web Links, we can easily extend the concept of networking to become totally alive on the Internet.

One day while I was reading various emails (February, 1996) and observing the numerous trading of links amongst the various Web Sites, an idea came to me to move us to the next step. What if we created a Network of New Age Web Sites? How would this work exactly and of what benefit would such a network be to its members and to the various Web readers who visit New Age related sites?

Truly, we must give credit to two existing web sites who have already begun this journey. By this I am referring to Spirit WWW, which has probably the most comprehensive listing of International New Age Web Sites. Spirit WWW is managed by Rčne Mueller in Switzerland, who has spent long hours sharing key information with people around the world. Rčne was instrumental in explaining to us exactly how one does a Web Site which in turn manifested our own site, V J Enterprises. On Spirit WWW, Rčne has sorted the Web Sites he lists in various categories as well.

The second site to offer inspiration is New Heaven, New Earth, based out of Sedona, Arizona. For a modest fee, they offer to their members Web Space, Page Design and help to promote their products and services. Thus I thought, why not combine the approaches used by these pioneering sites and perhaps try to formalize the sharing of links that is already being offered and create a true Network! Then, all we have to do is have each member display one page about the network, explaining its concepts and goals including a link to the pages which contain a directory of the members. And thus,you have the page you are viewing now. In this way, all the members of NA NET Global are helping each other and being supportive.

HOW DOES NA NET GLOBAL WORK?

At this time, V J Enterprises is sponsoring this Network by administering and collecting the list of Member Web Sites. Then, we are creating and maintaining various page on our Web Site which lists the members in different sorted orders (first alphabeticly, later by Geography and Category of Service/Information offered). Correspondingly, each of our members are sharing this page on their own site which contains a link (as you see below) to the NA NET Directory Page(s). Each site who is a member of NA NET Global is involved in some aspect of the New Age whether it be metaphysics, spiritual philosophy, peace, healing, holistic practices, UFOs and more. You will find in the individual Member listing a description about who each site is, the type of information and services they share and how they can be contacted (either through their Web Site Address, Email or normal mailing address).

Additional benefits derived from membership in NA NET Global include the ability to:

1) Share key information or news of special events occurring in our world with all the other members thus helping to keep the collective readers of all the members sites more informed.

2) Expediate and facilitate the creation of new spiritual projects through combining the skills and resources of various Member Sites (i.e. - one member has the pieces or parts that another member is seeking and visa versa.)
