UNBELIEVABLE

I started using the Protein Power plan over 6 weeks ago, I read the book and reviewed the material and started the plan in a kind of casual way, "maybe even skeptical" I started to loose weight fast in the first week I lost 10 lbs and I decided to get on to this, so I listened to the tapes, watched the video and re-educated my self to my new eating life style. I also, excuse me Dr Eades, read the book called sugar busters and along with the information on how the Insulin Tolerance works and the gylcemetic index of carbohydrates, I really began focusing in on my carbohydrate intake. It has been almost 7 weeks and I have lost 31 lbs over, 3 inches on my waist two notches in my belt and dropped from a 36(tight) to a loose 34 inch pants size. I have watched realy closely and I have discovered that the key element is the fluid intake; when I reduce my fluid intake I do not really lose fast, but when I take in lots of fluid I lose. You should see what I am eating for breakfast; usually 2 eggs any style, some bacon or ham strips, fried mushrooms, (in butter!!) and some cottage cheese. For Dinner I take a large meat and spinach salad with cheese, sunflower seeds, mushrooms coleslaw and dressing. The people at work can't understand how I can eat so much and lose. There are skeptics who say I am loosing too fast but I say how much more do you want me to eat. I have been on several diets and lost weight before only to gain it all back. but never have I been on a diet that makes me feel satisfied after eating. I have no cravings like I used to, for sweets and believe you me I could eat sweets (would you believe a dozen doughnuts at once.) I have also started an exercise regime which includes walking and weight lifting and I feel terrffic. I took my blood pressure before I started dieting and it was 149/89 and my pulse was 86, last week it was 116/70 and my pulse was 73. My wife says lets see if it stays off. Well I am within 8 lbs of my goal of 175 which I have never weighed since the early teens, ! along time ago. I suggest that everyone should at least take an honest look at this book and the Plan. Give it a try it will work..Try some fresh strawberries with whipped cream in a crepe goooood!!!

SOMEONE FINALLY FOUND OUT WHY DIETS DONT WORK-GOOD-BY WEIGHT I FOUND THAT MANY OF THE COMMERCIAL DIET PROGRAMS DON'T WORK IN SPITE OF MY BEST EFFORTS ,I WOULD PUT ON WEIGHT..AFTER READING PROTIEN POWER I NOW KNOW WHY. THEY ARE ALL BASED ON HIGH CARB. LOW FAT,LOW PROTIEN. I FOUND MY SELF HUNGRY WITH MANY HIGHS AND LOWS . PROTIEN POWER KEEPS YOU ON AN EVEN KEEL AND NOT WONDERING ABOUT WHERE THE NEXT MEAL IS COMING FROM. WHEN I STICK TO IT I DON'T HAVE THE URGE TO CHEAT AND THE WEIGHT COMES OFF. I HEARTILY RECOMMEND IT TO THOSE WHO "CAN'T STAY ON A DIET.AND THOSE TIRED OF YO-YO DIETING

No joke. . .this way of eating is sensational. After two months on the plan, my husband has lost 35 pounds, six inches on his waist, and has gained much self respect. I am not overweight, but have lost two inches on my waist, five pounds of fat, and my stomach is much smaller. The Protein Power Plan keeps us from being hungry. The kids like eating the vegetables with us. I never thought I could eat a filet mignon every Saturday and not feel guilty. Now I feel like it is making ME leaner.

You really can EAT WHAT YOU LIKE and be HEALTHY and THIN! This book is not a gimmick. It's for real. After following for a year the nutritional plan (not "diet") explained in this book, I've lost the 45 pounds I gained through low-fat, high-carb "dieting" over the past seven years. I feel energetic, look fabulous, and am having a great time buying new clothes that are four sizes smaller. Plus, I get to eat all the wonderful things I love but deprived myself of following low-fat theories -- steaks, bleu cheese dressing on salads, real butter, cheesecake, nuts and cheeses -- even peanut butter is totally okay! It's such a relief to finally understand the biological reasons behind my lifelong weight struggles, and the simple way I can now be thin and healthy for the rest of my life. Drs. Eades thoroughly explain the science behind the plan, which adds credibility and understanding. In more than a year of following this plan so far I am never tempted to "indulge" in high-carb "tasties" because now I understand how they "hurt" my body.

Two hints: Exercising along with the healthy eating will truly increase your fat loss rate and body toning, as Drs. Eades say in the book. And, focusing on all the deliciously satisfying things you DO get to eat works much better than bemoaning the high-carb goodies you don't.

The best "diet?" ever!!!! My family has been on the diet for 30 days and my husband has lost 22 pounds and 1 pants size and although I have only lost 6 pounds, I was not overweight but had some fat on thighs, stomach and hips that would not go away, I have lost 1 1/2 inches in my waist and 2 inches in my hips. YEAH!! I eat more and better now than I was before "the diet". It has been great. I recommend it to everyone I talk to. Also, my husband has very high cholesterol, although he reports that he feels better, the results of his upcoming cholesterol test will be our proof. (I'll report to all at a later date.) BUT IF YOU WANT A PLAN FOR LIFE, THIS IS IT!!!!

Explained what to do about family history of Diabetes After years of excessive abdominal fat and high colesterol, my father and my maternal grandfather developed adult onset diabetes. My brother, sister and I were showing the same tendency. This book clearly explained my families metabolic problems and what to do about them. Following its advice I have lost much of my abdominal fat and have more energy than ever. It has lowered my brothers colesterol (mine will be measured later)

This book could very well change your LIFE! After being 30-50 lbs overweight for most of my life, and religiously trying every low-fat, high carb diet I could find, finding this book was nearly enough to make me wild with joy! I've been following the plan faithfully for nearly four week now, and have lost 20 lbs EASILY, and painlessly. No starving, no cravings, (at least after the first few days) and I don't even have to work out like a demon. I have, in fact, eaten like a queen. Bacon and eggs for breakfast, cheeseburgers for lunch, steak for dinner.......this is not a diet. This is like the heavens opened, God smiled down and said, "Eat!" And the plan is wonderfully easy to follow. I even went on vacation a few weeks ago and had absolutely no difficulty sticking with it. I even came back a few pounds lighter. (Believe me, that never happened before!) I also love the detail that Dr. Eades provides as to exactly why the low-fat, high carb diet fails so many people. The science here is sound, even if it does fly directly in the face of current vogue. I encourage EVERYONE to open their minds to this new (and old) way of eating, and BUY THIS BOOK.
