The First Aid Squad responds to various types of calls for help. A medical emergency in the patient's home is the most common type of call. Summit has a large number of doctor's offices and clinics, and we are often called to these facilities as well. Summit's busy streets and 2 major highways are often the scenes of accidents that require our response as well. It is not uncommon for all 3 of our ambulances to be responding to emergencies simultaneously.
