Alberta 
Alberta Monitoring for Health 
  1. Those without private insurance are eligible.   

2. Those that must use insulin to manage diabetes.   

3. All eligible supplies supported through this agency are totaled and the individual is covered for 65 % of the total (up to an annual maximum of $350).

BC-Yukon  Pharmacare    Note: Need Certificate of Training from an approved BC-DEC.   

1. 70% after initial $600 family deductible.    

2. 100% for seniors (65+) after $200 family deductible.

Manitoba  Government Extended Blue Cross   100% after annual deductible which is based on family income to a limit of 1600 strips per year. 
New Brunswick Government Blue Cross   100% for Social Assistance recipients - (for individuals who meet the criteria).
Newfoundland  Government    1. Manufacturer's cost only for seniors (65+) who meet criteria for income supplement.   

2. Manufacturer's cost only for Social Assistance recipients.

Nova Scotia  Pharmacare     Seniors registered with Pharmacare (fee $210/annum) must pay 20% to maximum of $250/annum.
