Meet Racer

We have had racer for about 12 years, we got him when he was only a couple of weeks old so he is getting pretty old. He came from a friends place out in the bush, they had a female cat that mated with a feral cat. Racer was one the only male that came from a litter of about 5. Because the father of the litter was feral, this meant that racer decided to continue his fathers tradition, he has got quite a wild side to him, ie. he seems to enjoy taking chunks out of people. I don't pick him up any more(Well I haven't for quite a few years, since he was a kitten I think). Also when racer was about five, we were just about to head off down to the yacht club to go sailing, we started to pull out of the carport when we felt that we had driven over a small bump, then we heard a great schreech and as I turned around in my seat I saw a black blure disapear into the distance(ie. another time that he lives up to his name). We had most cirtainly driven over the top of pore racers head. After a week or so he decided that it wasn't our fault and came home again. After a couple of day's of being at home again we think that he got in a fight with a possum, this is because he disapeard for a couple of day's and we found him recoveringfrom some bad wounds in a boat that we had hanging from the carport roof. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that now after running over his head he now has a tooth that sticks out of the side of his mouth and he has a tendancy to drool(another reason why we know it was his head that we ran over).

Another time that racer managed to escape death was when our family went on holiday for a term when I was eight years old(racer would have been around three). We had left responsiblity for racer(for him to be fed and stuff)to a good friend and neighbor Mr. Tolley. Well all was fine until he went to feed racer for the second time. He found that the food that he put out the first time was still right were he had left it, not even been touched. He was puzzled by this so he had a look around the place and racer was no-where to be found.Itwasn't until he was about to leave and head back to his place that he heard some quite meowing coming from the shed. Mr. Tolley went for a closer inspection and found that racer had been accidentally locked in the shed. He didn't know what to do. In a state of panic he almost rang the firebrigrade to get them to break in, but then he realised that we had given him some keys to the place, one of the keys was the shed key so it wasn't that much of a dramaafter all. Racer came out and thanked Mr. Tolley before rushing off to get some food and Mr. Tolley was rather relieved. (I would like to thank Mr. Tolley for this story because I wasn't there to get first hand information myself).
Well that is just a couple of the story's related to racer my family's cat. As you can see he doesn't have much in the way of lives left now, but even though he is half feral and he doesn't mind showing his affection by bitingwe can all say "Long live Racer, the cat that loves to escape death"

My Trophy's

Well this is just a few of the trophy's that I have earned over the years. Most of them are from sailing(My major sport) but I also have a couple of trophy's from hockey and one from a primary music band that I use to play guitar in(not much of an achievement really)

1995 1st in club div.
1995 novice skipper award
1995 equal 3rd, 4th on countback National Epiglass Schools Teams Racing Championship at sandy bay, hobart, tasmania
1996 18th overall at state schools regatta
1996 equal 2nd at state teams racing championships
1997 16th overall at state schools regatta
1997 equal 2nd at state teams racing championships
I have only put in a couple of club events in because if I put all of them in it would take up to much space!

Well these are a few of my teddies(I have around 10). I know what you are saying, didn't this 'GUY' say that he was 17 on the previous page, well you are exactly correct. I have had teddies since I was born pretty much. I haven't had any new one's for ages so this part of the page probably won't get updated for a looong time. Ok, guess you want to know some info about me and my teddies. I have been told that I 'talk' to my teddies during my sleep(I'm not to sure of that accuracy though because my sister is the one that told me this).Well I don't really have much info on teddy's, think I might just finish this artical right now.
