How is Golden Treat administered ?

It is recommended that you give your pet their daily amount on a 3-hour empty stomach, as the collagen works most effectively on an empty stomach while the body is at rest - this is the time when the body does it's repair work. If there is food to be digested, then energy has to go into digesting the food, whereas if the stomach is empty, then the body can concentrate more on healing. Some pets will readily lap it up in a little bit of water - others take it best when administered with an oral syringe. It should be given to your pet just before they go to bed at night.
