IntraOral Camera

The intraoral camera has been around for a few years and has become increasingly popular in dental offices today. It is a great diagnostic and teaching tool because it shows you pictures of your teeth on a 13 inch TV screen. You can see the teeth 20-30 times magnification. A picture is worth a thousand words, the patient can relate to what is seen on the screen rather than just a verbal explanation. Defective crowns, fillings, cracks, tarter and plaque build up can be easily seen with the aid of the camera. A picture can also be printed out for the patient, insurance company and for record keeping. Every office should have one.
