Guiding Light Award Recipients

Sample Award

These first awards were given without application or recommendation. These wonderful folks have become very special to me over the last year or so.  Most of them are fellow volunteers in the Geocities Community Leader Program, the others are friends I've made along the way.  Please visit their sites and don't forget to leave a little Aloha in their guestbooks.

If you feel your site deserves this award, or if you know someone who should be considered, please e-mail me and tell me about it.

Tigerlily Tiger is one of my best cyber-buddies. She is always there with a kind word or a helping hand to those who need it.  She is also my Co-Chair for the HotSprings Awards Committee.  Go check out Tiger's site and then stop by and visit our Committee page.
JP's Web This site has something for everyone.  It's really well-designed and easy to navigate.  It has given me great pleasure to begin to get to know JP over the last year.
Essy Essy is one of the most dedicated and energetic people I've had the pleasure to get to know.  She was my Mentor (still is!) and is a wonderful friend.  She is our HotSprings Liaison, a Community Leader in Heartland, and actively involved in other Geocities and Internet activities too numerous to include here.  And she still finds time to raise a family!
Cherri Senior Co-Liaison, Head of the Welcome Committee, Author of the HotSprings Newspaper, this dynamo helps keep us going. She does all this along with her full time job, AND she she just got her Bachelor of Science Degree. Way To Go, Cherri!
Froggie This lady is a talented Website/Graphics deisgner.  She's a fantastic teacher and a great friend.  Froggie is always there with a smile and a big hug, just when you need it most.
Oldlace Although battling Crohn's disease and injuries, Oldlace still has the time and energy to be a teacher and a leader.   She is always there for anyone who needs help or encouragement.
MaryLee Besides having an awesome webpage, MaryLee is also Chair of the GeoCities WebTV Committee.  Check out both of her great sites.
GeoNurse Check out Cindy's fantastic site. Don't miss her awesome graphics and special pages for nurses.
SeniorChamp Dave has, in my opinion, the BEST GeoCities Help section out there.  And don't miss his fantastic golf tips.
Dr. Joe Burns Dr. Burns is responsible for thousands of webmaster's successes. His site HTMLGoodies is, without a doubt, the best and easiest place to learn HTML and JavaScript. Thank you Dr. Burns.
The Lost Child EBS There are barely words to describe this service that Lyn Morris and her staff at The Lost Child Emergency Broadcast System provide. Please visit and do what you can to help.
Rebel Rebel is the Mother of a Special Needs child. She has created a wonderful site to share all she has learned with other parents. She's a fantastic lady and a loving parent. AND she still finds time to be there to help her Homesteaders at Y!Geocities. Don't forget to also visit her other site at Rebel's Roost.
