HIS Fruit in HIS Season
Bro.Tim Pruitt-Sat.p.m-Jan.9,1999
Psalms1:1-6 Forget the past and press on toward God. Your past might have been bad but you've got a future. If you have Christ you've got a unmarred future. Our past has been washed with Blood. Remind Saten of his past and future and he'll leave you alone. To serve God in this hour is the greatest priveledge. He's called us for this time.
Ecc.3:1,John 5:4, Galations 6:7-9 A set law is" what a man sews that will he reap." In Due season we shall reap if we faint not. The things that we do are seeds, cause we reap what we sew. Keep on sewing good seed and we'll reap good. We can receive anything if we don't give up on it. Jacob believed the promise and gave up his birthright. He knew he was God's, grab hold of God's promises and don't let go. You have to perservere to get God's promises. The Word of God is seed. We sew seed, and we're ground for seed too. Every promise is a seed, but you must plant it to get the fullness of the promise. You don't have a crop, just cause you have a seed. It's got to come to maturity. These promises are here but you have to make them work within the law. If you give up on a crop, you'll never get it. When it comes, it always comes in seed form. God's promises always come in seed form. We want it right now, but God says there's a season for it. A healing is seed form. He didn't promise miracles, he promised healings. It was healing that Calvary covered. Things come to maturity but it's not overnight. We get impatient. God never gets impatient.
When the Bride leaves, God will pour out judgement. We are seeing pre-tribulation plagues and changes of the season. The seasons are blending.
ReV.5:8 Paul prayed for the coming of the Lord. His prayers was a seed stored up for another time. The seven seals is it. Reb.8:3-4 The prayers were then stored up till the time of fullfillment. When that Season comes every promise comes to pass. There are signs of His coming. We're in the blending of Seasons. Like Spring is a blending from winter to summer. The coming of the Lord is a season. It don't happen in a moment , that's the body change. It starts w/ restoration and ends with Body change. Birthdays do mean parties and cakes but it's still your brithday without that. The Lord is coming even though we don't see the changes yet. It's still the time. There's seasons in our walk w/God.
When you've got great faith, you'll prosper. Fear brought a change of season in Job. Fear brought it to pass. Job had seasons, Faith to fear, to doubt, to hope and back to faith, which produced restoration.
Even through the dry seasons, keep holding on. It don't come easy. There are times we must stand whether we feel like it or not. We've put too much on mountain top experiences. The fruits will freeze up there. Get back to the vally prayer meetings. We get what we ask for in seed form. Our bodies don't change fast, it came in seed(potential) form. We're maturing into token life. We're not oak trees, he made us acorns. Everyone starts like an acorn.
Heb 5: We have to learn what God gives us. Some christians still have to be patted and pampered. You don't tell and 18 year old to brush their teeth and get dressed. You don't have to tell a real christian to come to church and dress right. If a 18 year old won't get dressed we think they're mental. There are some mental christians too.
4 soils:1.wayside(path)=carelessness. 2. stony=no depth of soil or faith=emotional.3.thorny ground=cares of the world.4. good ground.
Keep on believing so you'll receive a promise of God. The word must have an air of faith to come forth. We grow in the sunlight like wheat. The small tender plant was ok for Wesley's age but we are matured in God's sunlight.
God don't worry about time. He knows it's coming to pass. The 3 Hebrew children prayed when they were taken captive and it took a while before they got their deliverance. Maybe you think you're in the fire but God's always on time. ALWAYS! Jesus Christ was the Second adam. This one come by spoken word, the original plan. Many believed, where Eve disbelieved. Many men try to force the season. God waited w/ Abraham till it was way past human possiblility. That's what he's doing w/the rapture. God waits till we can't do. We can't do it on our own.
We look at the problem instead of what God said. He said we were spotless. We can't make ourselves w/out blemish. We must wait till God makes us that way. God's grace has shown on us. He will have a Bride in spite of our failures.
The promises are unto us. We have to believe them. When you've given a promise you're given a seed. Lots can happen to the seed. It's up to the caretaker how the seed turns out. You don't throw the seed out there. It must be planted and cared for. Water it w/praise and thank God for everything. "The right mental attitude toward any promise will bring it to pass." If you get something and lose it, you fainted. You gave up. Abraham didn't faint. Abraham kept it. Every time you look at the symptoms it delays your healing. Wait on the divine promise in the right season. Take the right word , in the right place, and it will take place. If you harvest wheat in the little state you won't get seed. God's not coming for a green state. Wheats gotta reach maturity before you take it. God's not gonna take us in the immature stage. Lay in the presence of the Son. The Bride comes forth in the harvest season. God will have a harvest and we must be in the same stage as it was in the beginnning. A seed is a mature stage. The Devils gonna come just like weeds. Keep the hoe of the word at him or you'll never make a crop. Some will try to force the rapture in 2000.
There's nothing in this message that warns about a complete shut down. According to God, Y 2-K is not major. God has seasons for his word. God had to make their cities awful so they'd leave. When you got more treasures up there then you've got here then the rapture will come. You keep on workin cause he could say you gave up too soon, You can stay in tribulation to work. The season is changing.
These are nikey's notes, may not be exactly what the preacher said. If there is conflict ask your pastor. This is just what I got copied down of Bro.Tim's message.
