My short swashbuckling pirate piece, Over the Reef, appeared in 2005 in the Australian comics anthology, Pirates, edited by Tonia Walden. I was pretty happy with how this five pager came out, and would be tempted to continue the tale if the anthology continues at some point.

The approach I took here was a really traditional one in terms of artwork (in keeping with the pulpy feel of the piece, I think). I did try to research a proper setting - time period, costumes and, to some extent, language.
