James felt the sand scratch his face as the salty waters dragged him in. He crawled onto the shore where he would be safe from the violent waves. He was staring up at the moonlight. It was bright and relaxing, and the stars, millions of shining dots scattered across the dome canvas. He let his exhaustion take him and was out in minutes.
The next time he opened his eyes the sun was scorching his face. It was high noon, and he was all alone on some island. He desperately tried to recollet what had happened. He, Jessie, and Meowth had been taken captive by the Boss; they had failed him one to many times he had said. Nobody-Rockets had flown them out over the everstretching ocean and dropped them to die. He could hear his wail, and Jessie’s high pitched screams, Meowth’s insults at the Rockets who had dropped them out… Then it was the splash and the stuggle to survive. His face suddenly went blank. He felt a tear in his chest.
“Jessie… Meowth…” he uttered through his still face. He felt his knees weaken, then give out. He was kneeling on the sand with his face in hands crying. He knew that Jessie and Meowth were gone, that he may never see them again. He couldn’t stop the tears so he began to walk while sobbing. He walked to the islands core. Tt was a snow topped volcanic peak. He went all the way to the top where the tears froze, and, as dusk began to fall, he made his long trip back down. The tears had subdued, and his mind had drifted. He felt as if he was going to go mad.
He tripped and rolled down the cliff, and he landed head first in a hot spring. He just sat up and scowled at his surrondings, dripping like a wet dog.
“Just like you to take a trip to the hotsprings," the familiar voice of Jessie broke through the steam.
“Jessie?” James stood up in a flash and his entire face grew happy and childish again.
“Who else would it be?” She laughed, “It’s you and me together, forever, James.”
He ran up and hugged her. The embrace was beautiful, he hadn’t lost his team after all. But where was Meowth? “Where’s Me-”
“Askin’ for Meowth?” The Scratch-cat Pokémon landed on his shoulder, and hugged his head, “I love you guys!”
“I love you too Meowth!” James laughed. He was so happy now that they were with him. How could he have ever imagined living on without them?
“Do you know where we are?” he asked in his normal inquisitive tone.
“Lost, Shrimpbrain,” Meowth replied.
“Why does it matter?” Jessie scoffed pulling out of the group hug. “We were disgraced, and left for dead. Being together is all that matters now...” She trailed off, staring at the hot spring.
“Yeah,” James agreed glanceing back down at the steamy pool.
“I don’t know what'chu two are waitin’ for. I’m takin’ a nice relaxin dip.” The feline dove in, then kitty paddled around. Jessie began to strip. She left only her undermost layer on when she stepped in. James blushed slightly at the sight of Jessie’s gorgeous body. He knew better though, why would a wonderful girl like Jessie ever want him?
“You gonna be getting in James?” she asked casually, looking over her shoulder.
“Uh… yeah." He took off his uniform leaving him in a black Speedo. Unlike his last encounter with the spring this time he eased in letting the hot water relax every muscle in his body. He closed his eyes and leaned back against the natural rock wall.
He felt Jessie’s arms wrap anound his waist. He looked at her, she was slidging onto his lap. He nervously tensed up again.
“I love you James,” she said, smirking at him. It was almost a seductive tone she'd used. He couldn’t respond, he just watched her bring her lips to his. Her soft lips caressing his. He refused to ruin this moment, the moment where Jessie wanted him as much as he wanted her. He pulled her closer and let his tongue slip gently into her mouth. It was a kiss to die for, and he felt more in love than he believed possible when it came time to breathe again.
He smiled back at her and kissed her softly again, “I love you too Jessie, and I always have. It’s just I never…”
“Never thought that I would love you? I’ve always secretly loved you too James! You’re the perfect guy, no denying it.”
He blushed again, “Really? I mean… Yeah, and you’re the perfect girl.”
“And the prefect boy, and the perfect girl…”
“Make the perfect set of partners,” he nodded.
“Okay… youse two are getting TOO corny now… I’ll leave you lovebirds to yourselves.” And with that Meowth trotted off. But James didn’t care. It was Jessie that was important right then and there.
“Now that we’re alone…” Jessie’s voice dropped into that sensual sexy tone again, “We should see how perfect the love of a perfect couple can be.”
“Jessie…” Was all James was able to say; his groin ached, though he had been ignoring it. He wanted it, no matter how simple it was to him. He found himself kissing her again, with her hand massaging him. It felt so good, he couldn’t hold back the lust. He whipped her around and kissed her fiercly. He kissed along her neck and licked her collar bone. She tasted as good as she looked.
In only what seemed like seconds he was grinding his pelvic bone to hers. It was simply beautiful; two lovers making beautiful love in the hot spring. When he had cum, and fallen aside, he couldn’t hold back the grin. He was bursting with more happiness than he ever thought he could feel. He was loved. Not only was he loved, but by the one most important person in the world to him. Jessie.
That night he made a bed out of leaves for them. After dressing in his shirt which was all ragged from the ocean swim he lay down. Jessie’s didn’t look nearly as bad as his; only a few wrinkles and water wear. They cuddled looking up at the stars as he had the night before.
“Why do we still wear these R’s Jessie?” he asked.
“That’s what we’ve become.” she relied simply. He looked at the proud curves of her profile. He couldn’t believe that was true, but didn’t question any further.
It was morning, and the island birds chirrped loudly when he woke. Jessie was still in his arms, and now Meowth was curled up in a fuzzball at his side. He smiled again; this was true happiness and peace.
Jessie opened her eyes and blinked at him. Meowth cuddled a little closer.
“My dear Jessie…” he whispered to her.
“Yes James?” She sat up, when he just shook his head she went on, “I’m hungry, we need food.”
“We could go out to the beach and look for Krabbies…” he suggested.
His idea was taken, and in no time, the three of them were out walking on the surf of the beach. They only saw wet rocks glimmering in the morning light, and every once in a while a bug. It was becoming hopeless and closer to noon.
There looked to be some foreign object on the beach, not a rock or plant. As they got closer James realized it was an animal. He suddenly felt worried for it, that it maybe alive and suffering. His emotion pulled him into a run, with Jessie close behind. Staring down from above he could see that it was a Meowth, drowned and beaten by the ocean.
“Poor thing…” Jessie whispered under her breath. It had a piece of material wrapped around its paw, almost like a surrendering white flag. He knelt down and felt the creatures pulse. It had been long dead. Up close James could see where the ocean fish had nipped away chunks of fur and flesh.
“Meowth!” he called over his shoulder. There was no resonse, so he turned to look. Meowth wasn’t behind them anymore. “Meowth?” he repeated.
“He’s gone James…” Jessie’s hand squeezed his shoulder as if trying to calm him. He looked at her, she was stareing solemnly at the washed up carcass.
“You can’t mean…” James felt a tear drip down his cheek.
“Yes, James…” she said, removing her hand from his shoulder, “You can’t live in denial forever, you knew it before now.”
“No…” the tears were falling freely again. “But Jessie… he… he was just…”
“No, he wasn’t…” She sighed, “He didn’t make it…”
“Jessie?” He looked up to her again. She was now stareing out at the roaring ocean. He looked back from her to the Meowth, then with ashtonishing speed ripped the cloth from its paw. He stared in horror as he clearly made out the still intact curved edge of a red R. He began to shake violently, and threw the cloth. He stood and spun around.
“Jessie!!!” he screamed.
The roar of the crashing waves was his only respose. Jessie was gone.
“Jessie!” He screamed it again falling to the ground. His body naturally curled up into a fetal position, “Jessie… Jessie… Oh my poor beloved Jessie…”
