Domo Arigatou for taking time out to read my TetsuxHyde fic. It's been around since 1998 which means it's 5 years old now!! Can you believe it? Well, for it's 5 year anniversary I revised it for the FINAL time...tying up loose ends and clarifying things that didn't make sense in the beginning. No other website has this newly revised fiction except pook's site, REINCARNATION and I think this will be it's permanent home. So please keep coming back here to check for updates!

I have been on a haitus from writing fiction for about 3 years now and this TetsuxHyde fic has been on the backburner. I want to thank each and everyone of you that took the time to write me encouraging e-mails about this story and urging me to finish it. I know I didn't even reply to most of you for the past couple years, but I want to tell you thank you and I will finally continue to complete this saga for 2004!! You all have waited long enough. (and it's about time Laruku got back together too, ne?!!)

In the meantime, please re-read the story...since I made some changes it might even be better than when you first read it...I hope!! And like I mentioned before, this story is purely fictional. I just used some real facts about the band and twisted them around a little. Hahaha... Just for us adamant TetsuxHyde fans!!

The story takes place in 1998, just after the first part of their LIGHT MY FIRE TOUR ended. The members took a three week vacation to rest and do whatever they want. But little did they know this vacation would start something that would change all their lives, especially Hyde and Tetsu's. Even though they lead their own separate lives, they still have a deep connection to one another. Hidden feelings start surfacing and memories of the past start haunting them. Will these feelings finally bring them together and show them their destiny? Is their relationship really meant to be or is it just a door back into their past?

- Part 3 -

 

Dinner went by unexpectedly fast. Tetsu and Hyde met Ken and Yukki at a nearby Italian restaurant down in the glitzy Ginza area. Hyde wasn’t talkative as he usually was and Ken noticed how Hyde kept glancing at Tetsu every few minutes...but their eyes didn’t meet even once. Tetsu told them that he was going to have Hyde stay at his house for awhile, but still resume practices without Hyde present. Ken and Yukki were surprised at first, but understood. Hyde looked a bit disappointed and said nothing as he quietly ate his food. After an hour more of nonsense chatter, they all departed and left.

The drive home was even more quiet. Hyde wanted to say _something_, but what could he say after what happened earlier? The way Tetsu was acting, it was hard to tell what he was thinking or feeling. Hyde just watched the streetlights rushing past as they drove back to the apartment. When they arrived, Tetsu immediately went to his room, not saying a thing. Hyde stayed in the living room, sitting on the couch. His kitten welcomed him home by brushing against his leg, purring. Hyde picked up the cat and hugged it.

“Kitty-chan... I think Tetsu is mad at me ne...” Hyde whispered quietly to the cat. He put the cat down on his lap and stroked it while staring at one of the paintings on the wall. He remembered when he painted this picture... It was when he first met Tetsu, this vision immediately popped into his head. A single, slender pastel flower amongst a dark and gloomy background. When he first presented it to Tetsu, Ken and Pero...they all laughed at it. Not understanding it’s significance. Hyde himself at the time was still trying to figure out why he painted this composition for Tetsu. The thought of Tetsu as a beautiful lonely flower encased within a dark backdrop of gloominess seemed appropriate. To him, he saw Tetsu as a beautiful and strong person stuck inside his own dark world. But no matter what sadness came, he still remained beautiful and strong, giving hope to others around him... Hyde wondered if Tetsu finally understood his art, since he hung them on his walls after all these years.

Tetsu then came out walking towards the kitchen, clad in his pajamas-- a simple T-Shirt and a pair of cotton shorts. Hyde couldn’t help but run his eyes down Tetsu’s long slender legs, it even made him blush. But, he turned away quickly before Tetsu saw him.

“Um, Haido?”
“Nani?” Hyde asked quickly, not even turning around to look at Tetsu.
“Would...you, um...like some tea?”
Tetsu’s voice sounded nervous as he came around and sat near Hyde on the couch. He looked at Hyde’s face. It was expressionless as he was sitting there petting his cat.
“Techan...” Hyde finally said, still not looking up.
“What is it?”
“I’m sorry...” Hyde said as he looked up at Tetsu. There was a long silence between the two, until Tetsu spoke.
“There’s nothing to be sorry about Haido.... really.”
Hyde looked at Tetsu surprised, as he set the cat down.
“But, Tetsu...”
“No...just...forget about it.” Tetsu answered back quickly before Hyde could finish his sentence. Hyde wanted to answer back. This was something he just can’t “forget” about. But, it seemed that Tetsu preferred it that way...

“I’m going to make us some tea....” Tetsu said as he smiled at Hyde kindly. He got up and went back into the kitchen to boil some water.
“I’m just going to uh.... change.” Hyde said as he passed Tetsu quickly and proceeded down the hall.
Tetsu watched him as he went into the room. In Tetsu’s mind, the situation wasn’t something he could just forget about either.... He just wanted everything back to normal again...that’s all. He didn’t want Hyde to be any more confused and stressed as he already was. Tetsu leaned against the counter daydreaming. The scene kept on replaying through his mind, like a movie in slow motion. He could still feel Hyde’s soft lips against his body, his tongue leaving a warm trail of saliva down his chest. Tetsu closed his eyes...

“Um, Techan?”
Tetsu’s eyelids flew open as he saw Hyde standing there in front of him. He hoped Hyde didn’t see him standing there too long with his eyes closed.
“Yeah?” Tetsu said as he smiled back at Hyde who wasn’t even changed out of his clothes yet.
“I...sort of.... forgot to pack my nightwear.” Hyde scratched the back of his head embarrassingly.
“Hontou?” Tetsu asked, trying not to laugh, “That suitcase weighed a TON and you didn’t even have a pair of pajamas in there?”
“Nope...that was one thing I forgot to pack...” Hyde smiled, he knew Tetsu wanted to laugh at him.
“OK then... I’ll let you wear some of mine...” Tetsu said as he motioned Hyde to follow him to the room.

Tetsu went through his drawers, trying to find something that would fit Hyde. Hyde was actually smaller than he thought. Suddenly the noise of the kettle boiling interrupted his search. Tetsu looked up from the drawer and turned to Hyde, who was sitting on the bed behind him;

“You can look in here and find something that fits, ne...”
“Arigatou Techan...”
With that, Tetsu quickly ran to the kitchen. Hyde looked through all the nightwear in the drawer. Most were silk and thin... VERY uncomfortable. Something he’d rather not wear to bed. As he was searching deeper into the drawer, he found a small velvet box. Hyde couldn’t help but take it out, looking back to make sure Tetsu wasn’t around. He gently opened the little box and looked inside. It was a silver ring, adorned with a couple of small diamonds. The ring size looked small, like if it was for a girl. He took it out of the box and examined it closely. It was from Tiffany&Co., Tetsu’s favorite jeweler. Hyde then saw a little message engraved inside. He looked closely, squinting his eyes in the dim light, trying to read the inscription.

“Forever Yours... OT”

Forever yours? Hyde knew the initials OT were for “Ogawa Tetsuya”, Tetsu’s real name and the statement; “Forever Yours” was a E.L.T song, right? Crude reality was finally settling in. Was Tetsu going to give this to Kaori?! Hyde felt a sharp pain shudder within his chest. He quickly put the ring back in the box and shoved it deep into the drawer where it belonged. He knew he shouldn’t of been nosy...but...

“Did you find anything?
“Huh?!” Hyde quickly turned, looking at Tetsu scared.
“Oh, did I scare you? I’m sorry!”
“No no... you just surprised me, ne.”
“So you didn’t find anything to wear?”
“No...not exactly.”
“Hmmm...” Tetsu looked in a few more drawers, “I think I have a set of pajamas that were my sister’s when she last spent the night here. She is the same size as you too.”

Hyde felt awkward. Tetsu was gonna have him wear his sister’s pajamas?!! He saw Tetsu take something down from his closet full of different name brand clothes, all neatly hanged and color coordinated too.

“Here they are!” Tetsu said as he unfolded the pair of pajamas. It was a two piece ensemble in a baby-blue color. Didn’t look too girlish...thank goodness. Tetsu unbuttoned the pajama top and gave it to Hyde, along with the pants.

“I hope these fit...” Tetsu smiled. He then walked out, closing the door behind him to let Hyde change. Hyde slowly took off his clothes. That ring was still bothering him. He was really wondering if Kaori and Tetsu were still together after what he did. A part of Hyde felt really guilty if they did break up on his part, but if they did, he was glad. That girl wasn’t meant for Tetsu anyway. Tetsu sure was serious about the relationship if he was gonna give her that ring, Hyde thought. Damn...

Tetsu was pouring the tea in the cups as he was watching some program on TV. Hyde finally stepped out and Tetsu immediately turned around.
“AH~! Suge~!! They actually fit you ne!” Tetsu giggled a bit as Hyde approached him towards the couch.
“Do they look okay?” Hyde asked as he looked down at his girly pajamas. The arms on the shirt were still a little long, but the pants fit perfectly.
“Well, they’re just to sleep in... of course they look fine!” Tetsu laughed as he handed Hyde a cup of tea. Hyde was happy to see Tetsu smiling and talking again, he couldn’t help but stare at the bassist. Tetsu’s attention stayed on the TV as he was sipping his tea. Hyde looked up and saw that it was a Evagelion re-run...no wonder Techan’s eyes were glued to the TV. Hyde often wondered why Tetsu liked Anime so much. Hyde himself found it a bit boring...especially the anime Tetsu watched. But the way this night was going, Hyde wouldn’t mind watching a dozen Evagelion re-runs.... Just as long as he got to see Tetsu smile again.

It was already past midnight and Tetsu decided it was finally time to go to sleep. He gave Hyde his medicine and Hyde took it reluctantly. The taste was bad and he didn’t even know how this stuff will help him anyway. But he knew Tetsu was only doing what was best for him and what the doctor told him to do.

“You can sleep in my bed.” Tetsu said as he walked down the hall. Hyde followed him and entered the bedroom. Was Tetsu gonna sleep in the bed too? He saw Tetsu propping up all the pillows and pulling the covers over so Hyde can get in.

“Where...where will you sleep?” Hyde asked quietly.
“Oh, I’m just going to sleep on the couch.” Tetsu answered back as he grabbed an extra pillow to take with him.
“Zettai?” Hyde was hesitant for awhile until he said; “But doesn’t your back still hurt?”
“Daijoubuda! Don’t worry. The couch folds out into an extra bed, so it’s OK.”
“Oh...okay.”
“Um...well...Oyasumi.” Tetsu smiled as he looked at Hyde.
“Oyasumi...”

Tetsu left the room and Hyde climbed into the soft bed as he shut off the light. It wasn’t easy for him to go to sleep right away, but he knew the medication would make him drowsy in no time. The thoughts of kissing Tetsu kept appearing in his mind over and over again when he closed his eyes. He wished Tetsu were here in the bed with him... his arms wrapped tightly around Hyde. He then thought about the ring again. What would the feeling be like if that ring was from him? These thoughts kept running through Hyde’s mind until he heard something. He opened his eyes and saw a silhouette of someone standing in the doorway.

“Tetsu?” Hyde confirmed quietly. But, no answer... Hyde sat up trying to make out the figure... Whoever it was looked taller than Tetsu and had long black hair falling past the shoulders. It’s white skin was reflecting the blue light of the full moon.

...Could it be?! Hyde squinted his eyes through the darkness, trying hard to make out the face.
“Sa...Sakura?” Hyde said unsure as he sat there astonished, “What are you doing here?”
Sakura said nothing and didn’t move. Hyde couldn’t believe his eyes. What was Sakura doing here? Did Tetsu let him in? Did Tetsu forgive Sakura for what he did? Hyde was suddenly happy beyond words, he wanted to cry. The last time he saw Sakura was the worst day of his life. It was when Sakura told him that he did not care for him anymore and left him for good without turning back. Did Sakura finally decide to come back to him?!

“Oh, Sakura!” Hyde cried as he jumped out of bed and hugged the figure. Sakura remained stiff and his skin was cold to the touch.
“I missed you so much Sakura...where were you?!!” Hyde said as he buried his head into Sakura’s built chest. He felt Sakura’s hand stroking his head gently...
“Sakura, please say something...nanka itte!” Hyde looked at Sakura in the face, running his hand down his cheek. Sakura looked down at Hyde expressionless. His piercing black eyes looking right through Hyde.
“Do you still love me?” Sakura’s voice echoed through Hyde’s ears, the familiar sound made his heart beat fast.
“Of course I do... even though I never said it...I’ve...I’ve always loved you!!” Hyde cried.
“No you don’t.”
“Sakura, you know I always loved you. I was always there to help you. Why did you leave me behind? I cried for you.”
“You love Tetsu.”
“Sakura...” Hyde was speechless. He didn’t know what to say, because he was guilty for loving Tetsu too.
“You broke my heart, that’s why... Sakura, if you didn’t leave me in the first place, I wouldn’t have fallen in love with Tetsu. But if you’re back for good, I....” Hyde couldn’t finish his sentence and continued to hug Sakura, “Please don’t leave me....”
“I love you Hyde...”
Hyde felt tears coming out. This was actually the first time in ages that he heard Sakura say he loved him. It was unbelievable. Hyde looked up at Sakura again and kissed him on the lips, he slipped his tongue in Sakura’s mouth trying to taste him once more. But Sakura didn’t kiss back.
“What’s wrong?” Hyde asked, worried. He suddenly felt Sakura push him down on the bed, the huge figure hovering over him as his clothes were being torn away from his body. Hyde didn’t cringe away at all. He wanted to do this... He and Sakura did this a few times before so Hyde knew what to expect. He wrapped his arms around Sakura’s neck as he felt his lost lover’s cold lips against his neck.
“Ohh...Sakura...” Hyde moaned. His hand brushed lightly through Sakura’s long hair as he felt Sakura move his kisses down his chest. Hyde didn’t know what to feel at this moment. All of this seemed too weird, but it was happening! He felt Sakura’s hands travel down his body, exploring their way to the most important part. Hyde couldn’t hold back his gasps at Sakura’s fast movements. The drummer’s mouth was practically worshipping Hyde’s chest with kisses as his hands were gently toying with the vocalist’s arousal.
“So, do you love me?” Sakura whispered into Hyde’s ear.
“Sakura....ahhhh....I...I love you...aaahh!!” Hyde was struggling to get the words out but the pain and pleasure were just surging through his body all at once.

Suddenly Sakura stopped what he was doing and left Hyde there naked on the bed heaving. Hyde was about ready to come, but he didn’t get a chance to since Sakura immediately pulled off. He was in pain.
“Sakura... please...” Hyde begged. He wondered why Sakura left the job unfinished... this made Hyde angry. But then he noticed a big grin form on Sakura’s face, it was very abnormal to see.
“You said you loved me, right?” Sakura laughed arrogantly.
“Of course...” Hyde answered breathlessly.

Before Hyde was aware of it, he was strapped down to the bed.
“What the hell is this, Sakura?!” Hyde said as he saw his hands and legs belted down. Sakura was standing before him laughing as he flashed a needle into view.
“This won’t hurt a bit... in fact, it will make you feel much better.”
“What is THAT?!” Hyde said, staring at the syringe... it...wasn’t....
“Yes, the same stuff I used to get rid of my pain. I want to give it to you because I love you... Wanna know how to fly?”
Sakura’s expression now turned really evil as he squirted some of the substance onto Hyde’s chest. The substance seemed to burn the surface of his skin.
“Don’t Sakura...please!! This is what got you out of the band!!”
“I know that,,, and if I give this to you, then you’ll be out of the band. We can be together forever... isn’t that what we promised one another?”
“NO!!!” Hyde yelled out as he tried to struggle out of the restraints.
“I only did it for you Hyde... I knew Tetsu wanted you... I didn’t want him to have you.”
“You’re not making any sense!!!”
“Of course I am... I left because I knew you’d follow...but that coward got in the way.”
“STOP IT!!”
“Can’t handle the truth, eh Hyde?!”
“That’s NOT the TRUTH!!!”
“Well, I’m gonna do this my way!!” Sakura laughed. He got a rubber cord and tied it tightly around Hyde’s arm, making his blood stop.
“Remember this Hyde? After the first night we fucked, I let you shoot up? Didn’t you like it?!”

Hyde did remember that night...but he didn’t like it at all. He only did it because he didn’t want to experience the pain. He only did it because Sakura offered it to him.... He then started to cry.
“Noooo!!! Sakura!!! STOP!!!!” Hyde wailed.
He felt Sakura’s finger travel down the length of his arm, stopping at the protruding vein.
“It’s ready for me...”
“NO!!! Tetsu!!! HELP!! HELP!!! TETSU!!!!!”
“Ah, so you’re yelling for your dear sweet Tetsu now! You ALWAYS do that Hyde.... that’s how I got caught. You told your HERO, Tetsu. But do you think he’ll want to come and save you after he heard that you said you loved me? After he finds out that you fucked up his relationship with Kaori?!”
“I....I didn’t mean it!!” Hyde sobbed, “I did it for his own good. And I only turned you in because I was afraid for you!!!”
“Is that right, Tetsu??” Sakura turned back. Hyde looked up and saw Tetsu standing there watching the whole ordeal. A confused look in his eyes.
“Tetsu, help me PLEASE!!!”
Sakura laughed as he walked over to Tetsu and put his arm around him.
“Tetsu doesn’t want to help YOU.”
Sakura then pulled out a knife from his side and stabbed him in the chest. Tetsu yelped in pain as he collapsed to the ground.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!” Hyde yelled. He was jerking around in the bed trying to escape until Sakura came over and pinched his face with his hand.
“It’s your turn...”
“I hate you Sakura!!! I HATE YOU!!!! You fuckin bastard!!! Get the fuck away from me!!! GO TO HELL!!!!”
“Aww...you’re ruining the fun...” Sakura mocked a fake frown.
Hyde watched as Sakura jammed the needle into the vein of his arm, blood was squirting everywhere as Sakura pushed it down deeper.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!” Hyde screamed amongst Sakura’s hysteric laughter. The tears streaming down his face as he looked at Sakura’s horrid face laughing at him.

“Hyde...Hyde...”
“No! Stop!! Leave me alone!! NO!!!!” Hyde was twisting in his bed wildly, sweating like crazy. His screams woke Tetsu up and Tetsu immediately rushed into the room as soon as he heard them.
“Haido!! Wake up!!!” Tetsu said again, shaking Hyde’s arm.
Hyde’s eyes flew open wide as he searched the room, his breathing rapid... he looked like he saw a ghost.
“Tetsu!!!” Hyde sobbed as he saw Tetsu sitting near him, he hugged him tightly... trying to think if this was real or not. Did he have a nightmare? It seemed SO real. He was still scared and could feel the pain in his arm.
Tetsu hugged him back. What was Hyde dreaming about to make him this frantic?
“Hyde, are you okay?”
Hyde couldn’t answer back. He was crying uncontrollably like a child. Tetsu hugged him tighter.
“Sa...Sakura was here.....” Hyde wailed, hugging Tetsu tight.

Tetsu’s heart sunk a little when he heard this. Hyde had a dream about Sakura... Hyde must miss him... as he thought.
“You had a dream about Sakura?”
Hyde nodded and kept crying, burying his head into Tetsu’s shoulder.
“He...he hurt me and....he hurt you!”
Tetsu was confused. So this was a bad dream of Sakura?
“What did he do, Haido?”
Hyde couldn’t stop crying and he wouldn’t let Tetsu out of his tight embrace.
“I was so scared.... he...he said he loved me, but he hurt me bad....and...he killed you...right...in front of my eyes!!!” Hyde sobbed harder.
Tetsu nodded his head. Maybe the memories of the past were coming back in the weirdest ways. The medication probably was to blame for giving him these hallucinations.
“It’ll be okay...” Tetsu kept repeating as he rubbed Hyde’s back, trying to calm him down.
“Don’t leave me Tetsu...please...I’m so scared!!”
“I won’t...don’t worry.”

Tetsu gently rocked Hyde’s small body in his arms. Hyde just wouldn’t let go, even when he fell asleep. Tetsu gently lay Hyde down on the bed next to him as he also went under the covers. Tetsu couldn’t sleep now that he thought over Hyde’s weird dream. Hyde moaned a little as he turned over and put one arm over Tetsu’s chest.
“Tetsu...” Hyde sighed as he cuddled closer to Tetsu’s body. Tetsu gently put his arm around Hyde and brought him closer to him. Hyde was just like a child, clinging helplessly to a parent after having a bad dream. He wasn’t about to let go of Tetsu anytime soon.

The following morning Hyde woke up to a brightly lit room. The morning sun was sending rays of bright light through the thin light curtains, reflecting off the white walls. Hyde felt almost blinded by the light. He turned and saw Tetsu still fast asleep, grinding his teeth. Hyde smiled at this and kept watching Tetsu. He was still scared about that dream he had... Why was Sakura trying to hurt him? Was the dream trying to say something? If it did, it wouldn’t make any sense since Hyde has no idea where Sakura’s whereabouts are....

Hyde rubbed his eyes and sat up. He felt Tetsu moving around a bit, so he quickly laid back down, pretending to be asleep. Suddenly he felt Tetsu’s arm drape around him tightly...
“Mmmmmm....” Tetsu moaned quietly.
Hyde wanted to laugh, but he stayed very still. He liked this feeling... if only they could stay like this forever.

Tetsu finally woke up to find himself embracing Hyde tightly. Hyde looked like he was still asleep, so Tetsu didn’t move just yet. He looked down at Hyde, his peaceful face dozing off. He still couldn’t believe how scared Hyde was the other night, that must’ve been some nightmare. The feeling of Hyde wanting him to be next to him was unexplainable... Did Hyde really want him to stay with him? Tetsu looked down at Hyde and gently stroked his soft hair. Hyde fidgeted a bit, but still remained asleep. Tetsu couldn’t help but hug Hyde a little tighter. He didn’t want to let go...

Hyde kept his eyes closed though he was wide awake. Tetsu was actually hugging him so close and stroking his hair!! Hyde wanted to wake up just then and kiss Tetsu, but he didn’t want to scare him. He just remained still, hoping Tetsu would just do _something_.

Suddenly the phone rang and Tetsu gently unwrapped his arms from Hyde’s body and picked the cordless phone off his bed stand.

“Hai, moshi moshi?”

Hyde listened to the conversation, trying to figure out who it was....

“Wah! Hontouni? Sou ne! That’s great, but I think Hyde’s still recovering from his sickness...I’m not sure if he...”

There was a long silence as Tetsu was on the phone.

“Oh, well, actually... it’s really up to Hyde. I’ll see if he can come to the meeting today so we can discuss everything...”

Oh...that’s just the production company, Hyde thought.

“Okay...well, thank you.... I’m looking forward to it! Hai....Sa, jaa ne!”
Tetsu hung the phone up and sighed as he stretched his arms up. He then got out of the bed and went directly to the bathroom. The cat was there sitting on the bed, walking towards Hyde.

“Hey, how’d you get in here, ne?” Hyde asked as he picked up the fuzzy kitty and hugged it, scratching it’s head.
Tetsu finally got out of the bathroom and entered the room, finding Hyde sitting there with the cat in his arms.
“Ah! You’re awake! And the spoiled snowball is here, too, ne?” Tetsu smiled as he sat next to Hyde on the bed, looking at the cat as it was playfully moving around the bed.
“Are you okay?” Tetsu looked at Hyde with a worried face. Hyde looked back at him and shook his head.
“That dream... was...just...too weird.” Hyde began, “I hadn’t had a dream like that since... well... when I was drinking.”
Tetsu nodded his head, “I think it’s just the medication, Haido. It knocks you out and probably makes you see things...”
“But I can’t take anymore dreams like that Tetsu. They freak me out.”
Tetsu didn’t say anything as he started to pet the cat. Hyde looked at him and smiled, not saying a word. Tetsu was trying to think of the right thing to say at the moment....

“Well, if you want.... I could, um.... stay....”
“COULD YOU?!” Hyde said excitedly, cutting off the rest of Tetsu’s sentence. Tetsu was surprised as well at Hyde’s sudden answer and smiled a bit. He then changed the subject...
“Have you named this cat yet?”

Hyde was a little disappointed at Tetsu for changing the subject... but, it was forgivable!

“Not yet...but that sunobaru word keeps getting stuck with him.”
Tetsu laughed, “I was writing a song...but I’m not finished with it. I thought of this cat when I was writing it...”
“What is it called?”
“Well, I’m still trying to think of a good title, but so far.... the only thing I can think of is _Snowdrop_.
“Su-no do-ro-ppu?”
Yeah.” Tetsu smiled.
“I like that....you _will_ show me the song, ne?”
“Of course! You’re the one that has to write the lyrics...heehee.”
Hai...well then. I guess this kitty has a name then....”
“Nani?”
“Snowdrop! The cats name is Snowdrop...” Hyde laughed as he picked the cat up again and hugged it. The cat started to purr.... “See even he likes it!”
Tetsu laughed, “That cat doesn’t even know the difference.”
“Oh yes he does... Snowdrop thank Tousan-Tetsu for the name, ne!”
Tetsu’s eyes widened with disbelief. Hyde saw his reaction and started laughing.
“I’m only kidding Techan!”
The cat walked over to Tetsu and sat on his lap, wanting to be petted. Hyde was surprised the cat went to Tetsu willingly. Usually the cat never goes on Tetsu’s lap. Tetsu on the other hand couldn’t believe Hyde called him the cat’s father... he was shocked, but said nothing. The current situation made it seem like they WERE a real family. He wanted to say something in return....
“Ne, Snowdrop, thanks to your Kaasan-Hyde, you’re so spoiled!!”
Hyde almost screamed when Tetsu said that, and started to laugh even more.
“Hey, how come I have to be the Mommy?! I don’t spoil my children!”

Both Tetsu and Hyde giggled at the joke as they played with Snowdrop on the bed... In the back of both of their minds they kept thinking where all this was leading to... They were both wondering who would make the next move without scaring the other.

“New York?!!!” Hyde’s smile beamed across his face.
“Cool, huh?!” Ken said, smiling from ear to ear.
“But, thing is....can you go Hyde, despite your health condition?” Tetsu asked concerned as their manager was sitting across from them, along with the photographers and assistants.
“Yeah, I think so...” Hyde answered, “I’m fine, actually.”
“Ne, we can just bring a doctor or have one on-call, right?” Ken asked as he lit another cigarette.
“That’s what we planned...” The manager said as he sipped his coffee, “This is mainly for a photo shoot and a mini winter vacation for all of you.... since the summer tour really wore all of you out.
“SUGOI~~!!” Ken and Yuki said in unison.
“We will also be spending a week in Switzerland.” Tetsu added.
Hyde, Ken and Yuki couldn’t help but show their happiness as they started shouting and laughing like a bunch of excited kids.
“When will we be leaving?” Hyde asked.
“Well....there’s just one catch to this...” Tetsu answered back, “That’s why we want to make sure you are well enough.”
“What is it?”
“Your concert was one of the biggest in Japan. It was a success and everyone loved it. It was such a hit that companies and halls want us to add an extension to the tour.” The manager explained.
“Extension? For how long?” Hyde asked curiously.
“Two months...” Tetsu answered, “September and October.”
“Two months....” Hyde repeated quietly, “Are we gonna do it?”
“Only if you’re up to it Haido...” Ken said.
“Your health is much much more important.” Yuki added.
“If you need more time to think about it....it’s alright.” Tetsu looked at Hyde.
“I...I think I can do it.” Hyde nodded, “If the fans want us back, I’ll definitely do it.”
“Now are you sure?” The manager asked, “Because if this is an OK, we’ll immediately notify the concert halls and planners.”
“It’s okay with me...” Hyde nodded, “I have a few more weeks to get back into gear.”
The rest of the members agreed along with Hyde’s answer.
“We’ll do it then.” Tetsu grinned.
“Great!” The managed smiled, “This will all work out great. I will make sure everything is taken care of.”
“But...after the extension, we go on vacation?” Hyde asked hopeful.
“Of course.” Ken nodded, “It’s like the reward for our hard work!”
“We’ve been working on a couple new songs...” Tetsu said, “I think the concert extension would be a great time to debut them.”
“Sugoi!” The manager smiled, “Now that is a good idea. I will make sure the producers will schedule a recording session and we can work on those songs and see if they’re single release material. What better way to end a tour by releasing two new singles, ne?”
“I just can’t wait for that vacation!!” Ken laughed while everyone joined in.

Hyde just continued smiling. He was just too excited. Not only for the tour but for vacation! Going to New York and Switzerland!! He always heard a lot about those places and couldn’t wait to visit them. It will be his first time in both countries.... and the fact that he’ll be with Tetsu. He sure hoped they’d share a room...

After a few more discussions and an overview of the scheduling and preparation, the meeting was finally over and everyone went home.

Later that night Tetsu and Hyde were watching some videos they had rented. American ones, that is. Hyde rented some action films while Tetsu rented some sci-fi space ones. As the last movie finally ended, they both sighed and discussed what they thought about the movie, while they finishing up their ice cream.
“He’s a pretty good actor, ne...” Tetsu said.
“Nah... I don’t think so...” Hyde disagreed as he licked the spoon, “I’ve seen him do _much_ better.”
“Well, what did you think of the overall movie?”
“This movie was just as _bad_ as Godzilla! Maybe worse.” Hyde replied.
Tetsu laughed, “Yeah... can’t believe we agreed for them to use our song.”
“Oh, I KNOW!” Hyde smiled, “Oh well...”
Tetsu then switched off the TV and took the empty ice cream bowls to the sink, “What should we do now?”
“Oh.... I dunno.” Hyde said as he looked around the house, “Too bad you don’t have a Play Station around here.”
“Hey....” Tetsu smiled, “You know I suck at video games... Why own them if I can’t play them?”
“So when I come over, I’ll have something to DO!” Hyde answered back playfully, making Tetsu laugh.
“Ne...don’t you have a CD folder with you?” Tetsu asked, “Let’s hear some music!”
“Okay!” Hyde nodded as he got up from the couch and ran to the room. As Hyde was looking for it, he was wondering what they should listen to. He and Tetsu’s music tastes were a bit different. After all, Tetsu preferred ENYA while Hyde liked Marilyn Manson.

When Hyde returned, Tetsu turned on his stereo system and saw the vocalist approaching with a CD in hand.
“Nan desuka kore wa?” Tetsu asked as he examined the CD.
“Malice Mizer...”
“Malice Mizer?!” Tetsu laughed, “What made you buy _this_?!”
“They’re kind of popular now. I heard a lot about their music and bought their major debut album, ne. It’s pretty cool!”
Tetsu shrugged, “Okay then....”
He popped the CD in and listened to their music. It was quite interesting --the mix of synthesizers, rock and baroque sounds.
“What do you think?” Hyde asked.
“They’re OK. I mean, you’re a much better vocalist than this Gakuto character...in my opinion.” Tetsu said as he looked through the CD booklet, curiously staring at the Malice Mizer member’s elaborate costumes.
“Of course I am!” Hyde said laughing, “But you gotta give them credit for their uniqueness.”
“Uniqueness indeed.” Tetsu agreed, “Gackuto does write good lyrics though....strange, but good.”

After about fifteen minutes into listening to the album, Hyde finally said something.
“Tetsu?”
“Yeah?” Tetsu looked up as he put the booklet down and focused his attention on Hyde.
“I always wanted to ask you this....uh...”
“What?”
“I know this may sound out of the ordinary, but....”
“What is it Haido? Speak up!” Tetsu smiled kindly. His heart was beating fast because he could sense Hyde wanted to say something important.
“Well...I wanted to know... have you ever, uh.... kissed a guy before?” Hyde asked nervously as he looked at Tetsu. He was expecting Tetsu to have a look of horror, but instead, Tetsu’s face stayed calm and smiled shyly.
“Actually...I did.”
“What?!” Hyde was surprised. He wondered if Tetsu knew about that time Hyde stole a kiss from him when he was napping that one Christmas.
“It was a long time ago... I don’t really remember it all.”
“When did this happen?”
“Back in grade school... I had a crush on this really cute boy and...I just kissed him.” Tetsu laughed...he started to blush, “I actually liked it and I do remember I kissed a few times with this same boy... but after my Mother saw me one day after school, I got in big trouble.”
“Your MOM saw you?!”
“I know... can you imagine her face when she saw us? Hahahaha...her only son kissing a boy at such a young age.”
“But you were only innocent then... it wasn’t entirely your fault.”
“Yeah, well. I should’ve known better, ne...”
Hyde smiled and nodded his head. Imagining little Tetsuya Ogawa kissing a boy was actually sweet.

“So what about you?”
“Huh?”
“You asked me if I kissed a guy, what about you?” Tetsu smiled.
“Well, you....already know....about...”
“Yeah, but was he your only one?”
“Basically, yeah.” Hyde smiled as Tetsu nodded and smiled back.
“Would you want to kiss a guy now?”
Hyde was shocked...did Tetsu say what he thought he said??
“Well...I...don’t know....um...” Hyde started to giggle and blush, he saw Tetsu’s expression turn a little serious.
“Would you kiss a guy again, Tetsu?” Hyde redirected the question.
Tetsu shrugged, “It really depends who it is....”
Hyde’s heart was beating really fast.... Was Tetsu giving him signals again? Should he approach them?

“Can...I...um....”
Tetsu felt the sweat forming in back of his neck... was Hyde going to ask him FINALLY?!!”
“Yes?” Tetsu smiled shyly.
“Can I kiss you.... Tetsu?” Hyde said quietly, looking Tetsu in the eyes.
Tetsu smiled; “You mean, can you kiss me again?”
Hyde blinked, “A-re?”
“Christmas time....” Tetsu smiled, “I was laying in bed....not really asleep and you....”
“Came and kissed you...” Hyde continued, “You KNEW about it all along?!”
Tetsu nodded, “How can I ever forget... though I was drunk at the time and I wondered if it really happened.”
“Oh my goodness...” Hyde laughed, “You....knew all along.”
“So I guess you can say I’ve kissed two cute guys.” Tetsu joked.
“Me too...” Hyde blushed.
“Now should we try it, with me fully conscience?” Tetsu smiled.

Hyde inched his way closer to Tetsu and the bassist remained stiff. Tetsu’s eyes were watching Hyde closely, trying to see what will happen next. Hyde had no idea how he should kiss Tetsu, he was trying to decide on a position. They kept giggling as their noses kept bumping into one another.
“Here....” Tetsu said as he put his hand under Hyde’s chin, lifting his head slightly up. Hyde didn’t do anything but continued to look at Tetsu, who now inched his way closer to Hyde. Hyde closed his eyes as he felt Tetsu’s lips meet his. They were so soft and warm as they gently moved onto Hyde’s lips. A little moan escaped from Hyde as he opened his mouth a little more, waiting from Tetsu’s tongue to enter. Tetsu was hesitant and just kept kissing Hyde on the lips. It was such a great feeling that he couldn’t explain. He felt Hyde’s arms wrap around him...

“Ano...” Tetsu said in between kisses.
“Eh?” Hyde said, his eyes still closed as he kept his lips on Tetsu’s... not wanting to break away.
“What’s this song called?” Tetsu managed to say as he kept kissing Hyde.
“It’s.... uh....” Hyde couldn’t finish his sentence as his tongue decided to gently touch Tetsu’s lip.
“Huh?” Tetsu said, smiling as he ran his hands through Hyde’s hair, still brushing his lips against the other man’s.
“It’s... called... Le Ciel.... I think....” Hyde sighed as he continued to kiss Tetsu, embracing him tighter.
“Oh, sou.... The Sky, desho?” Tetsu grinned.
“I...I believe so...” Hyde sighed again, “But it doesn’t matter....”

Hyde then felt Tetsu’s mouth open and Hyde quickly saw that as a signal for his tongue to move in. Tetsu moaned a bit as Hyde’s slick tongue finally met his. The kiss started to become deeper and Tetsu didn’t want it to stop at all. Hyde was teasing Tetsu’s tongue by nipping it with his teeth. Tetsu’s hands were now stroking Hyde’s back as he kissed deeper.
“Mmmmmm...” Hyde moaned again, he now started to unbutton Tetsu’s top, running his fingers down his chest.
“Nnn...” Tetsu continued to kiss Hyde.
“Is this okay?” Hyde whispered into Tetsu’s ear. Tetsu nodded and let Hyde continue.
“You can touch me too..” Hyde said again, breathlessly. He then felt Tetsu’s hands go curiously under his shirt as his mouth met up with his again. Hyde quickly got rid of his shirt and let Tetsu fall on top of him.
“Kiss me, Tetsu...” Hyde said, his eyes clouded with desire as Tetsu looked down at him. A slight smile formed on Tetsu’s thin lips;
“I don’t know how to....Hyde...show me...”
Hyde smiled and quickly changed positions with Tetsu. The shorter man was now sitting on the bassist, both legs on opposite sides of his body.
“Like this...” Hyde said as he brought his face down to Tetsu and kissed him fully again. Tetsu’s hands ran up Hyde’s naked back as he sighed at Hyde’s kiss. Hyde’s mouth then ran across his face, kissing his jawbone and then finding its way to his ear. All this caused Tetsu to giggle a bit.

Hyde then ran his tongue down Tetsu’s slender neck and softly sucked on the skin he found there, so not to leave a visible mark. Tetsu sighed his pleasure once more as Hyde kept going lower and lower. He felt the most important part of his body react to the sensations...
Hyde then stopped and looked up at Tetsu, whose face was already red;

“Continue?”
Tetsu nodded and let Hyde go even further. His thoughts that kept him from doing this before were now lost in a deep sea of ecstasy... He didn’t want to stop this at all. He felt Hyde unbuckle his belt, then Hyde’s mouth once again met up with his. Tetsu loved kissing Hyde now. He wrapped his arms around Hyde again, letting his tongue enter the vocalist’s mouth. Hyde moaned as his hand started to explore the region below Tetsu’s waist. Tetsu jerked slightly in surprise as Hyde’s hand finally ran over his swollen manhood. Both giggled quietly in at their responses.
Just before they started to really get into it, the phone rang... interrupting them both.

“Damn...” Tetsu said disgusted at the interruption.
Hyde wanted to continue, but knew the phone had already ended it. He sat up and let Tetsu answer the phone. Trying to catch his breath, he listened to see who it was.

“Uh, MOM?!!!” Tetsu’s face went blank as he looked at Hyde. Tetsu’s mother called him out of the blue. Hyde wanted to laugh, but kept it in...staying ever so quiet as he picked up Snowdrop and started petting him.
“I’m fine....uh...how are you doing?”
Hyde smiled... it seemed like what happened to Tetsu years ago. When his mother caught him kissing that boy...
“Why am I breathing so hard? Well, I was babysitting Ken’s...no...Hyde’s cat, and I was chasing it around the house... You know, it’s good exercise! Hahaha...”
Hyde looked back at Tetsu and smiled as Tetsu returned a smile back. Snowdrop just purred quietly as he lay on the couch next to Hyde.
