Tetsu walked Hyde back to his flat, they were standing at the gate when and old
Japanese woman stepped out of the building.
?Haido Kun. Where were you last night?? She asked. Tetsu stared at her slightly
bemused.
?I?m sorry Mrs Kitamu. I slept at Tetsu?s house last night. But I?m here now.?
He smiled hopefully.
?You may be here but you don?t have a room. I told you I would be collecting
rent yesterday, and seeing as you weren?t here I?ve had enough. You are always
late with the rent now get outta here!? She threw a little brown backpack onto
the steps and then banged the door.
?I ? I don?t believe it! Where am I gonna stay now?? Hyde felt himself starting
to cry. The big tears rolled down his cheeks. Tetsu put an arm around his petite
shoulders and hugged him close to him.
?Don?t cry Haido. Here I tell you what.? Tetsu soothed, picking up the bag.
?I?m having the other room in my flat restored ? you could move in there if you
like.? Hyde snivelled and looked up at the taller man.
?Really? Could I?? Hyde asked.
?Sure, besides if we?re gonna be in a band together we have to live near each
other, eh?? Tetsu smiled broadly and they walked off down the street.
Tetsu sat on his couch and watched the Anime movie. He didn?t hear Hyde come
in. He went around the back of the couch and tapped Tetsu on the shoulder.
?Hey! Come have a seat.? Tetsu patted the seat next to him and Hyde came around
sat down. He was sitting in the foetal position and was smiling contentedly.
?What is this?? He asked, pointing at the T.V screen.
?CLAMP, it?s Anime, I love Anime.? Tetsu explained. ?And I love you? He
subconsciously added in his mind. Hyde smiled and then shrugged.
?It?s alright.? Really Hyde couldn?t stand it, but then, for his perfect Tetsu
he would watch anything.
Tetsu felt his eyelids drooping, and before long he was fast asleep. He dreamt
Hyde was a princess who he had to rescue from a big castle. It was such a great
dream. But just as he was about to kiss Hyde his eyes fluttered open. It was
dark in the room and the television was showing an Anime called Gensomaden
Saiyuki. Tetsu wasn?t interested in it, he was however interested in Hyde. He
was curled up on the couch ? his head was resting on Tetsu?s leg. Tetsu stroked
Hyde hair and ran his hand down Hyde?s face. His skin was so smooth to touch.
Hyde shifted in his sleep and groaned, Tetsu withdrew his hand quickly and
touched his fingers where Hyde?s skin had touched his own. Sighing happily he
placed a hand on Hyde?s shoulder and was about to shake him when Hyde mumbled
something.
?Tet-chan . . . hmmm . . .? Tetsu gasped slightly. Why was Hyde calling for him
in his sleep?
?He just knows you?re there, is all. Don?t be stupid Tetsu, he doesn?t love
you. How could someone so beautiful love a troll like you?? He thought to
himself. Before Tetsu could try to wake Hyde again his eyes opened suddenly.
?Tetsu!? Hyde said, surprised. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. ?Sorry, I must
have fallen asleep.? He apologised, looking at Tetsu.
?It?s alright, I fell asleep too.? Tetsu put a hand on Hyde?s shoulder. ?Come
on, off to bed.? Hyde nodded and stood up, Tetsu stayed there though.
?Aren?t you coming?? Hyde asked.
?I?m sleeping here, silly.? Tetsu said. As much as he wanted to sleep in the
same bed as Hyde again ? he thought he would think he was trying to take
advantage of the cute little Bishounen.
?Oh,? Hyde?s face dropped, but the smile soon reappeared. ?Okay, see you in the
morning.? And with that he turning and headed off to the bedroom.
Tetsu lay back on the couch, it was un-comfy and he had been tossing and
turning for hours. He could see the sun beginning to squeeze over the horizon.
About three hours later he heard the door to the bedroom squeak open. Hyde came
padding out of the room. He walked over to one of the armchairs and sat in it,
crossing his legs and wrapping the blanket from the bed around himself. He
hadn?t noticed that Tetsu was awake. Hyde lay his head back on the couch and
Tetsu closed his eyes, pretending to be asleep.
?Why . . . ? Hyde mumbled.
?Why doesn?t he like me . . . Why do I like him so much?? Hyde thought. He
shook his head and looked over at Tetsu. Getting up Hyde padded across to him
and knelt down. He leaned close to Tetsu and kissed him lightly on the lips.
Tetsu?s heart was beating so fast. Hyde was leaning in towards him. Suddenly he
felt Hyde?s full lips on his, he felt Hyde?s tongue peaking through Tetsu?s lips
and slowly, so Hyde wouldn?t notice, he opened his mouth. Hyde?s tongue slipped
into Tetsu?s mouth and Tetsu began to kiss back.
Hyde didn?t feel Tetsu open his mouth, he slipped his tongue into the gap and
started to kiss him deeply. He was beginning to run out of air and moving
slightly away from Tetsu, but still letting their lips touch he breathed in the
cool air. Tetsu leant forwards, wanting more of Hyde?s kiss. This he got. Hyde
climbed lightly onto Tetsu, running his hands through the taller man?s
highlighted hair. Tetsu groaned - he was in ecstasy. Hyde parted again looking
at the man in the sunlight. Tetsu smiled up at him and then went in for another
kiss, the kiss deepened as Tetsu leant forwards more. Suddenly Tetsu heard the
door open. They both heard Ken?s voice.
?Hey, guys? The door was open, where are you?? He called. Hyde clambered off of
Tetsu and ran quickly into the bedroom, just as Ken walked into the living room.
Tetsu was still in shock. Ken peered at him.
?What?s with you, looks like you?re high or something!? He laughed as he moved
Tetsu?s feet so he could sit down.
?That?s because I am!? Tetsu let it slip out and then bit his lip.
?Oh? And why?s that?? Ken asked, running a hand over his unshaven chin.
?Um . . . Anime! They - uh ? just showed CLAMP!? Tetsu sat up and pretended to
be engrossed in the television.
?Yeah, anyway. I just came over to tell you work starts in about . . . fifteen
minutes. Seeing as you are usually late.? Ken looked at his watch. Tetsu clapped
a hand over his mouth.
?Oh! I completely forgot about work. Hang on. Haido!? He shouted. The door to
the bedroom opened and Hyde walked out. He did a fake yawn and ran a hand
through his waist-length hair.
?Yeah?? He asked sleepily.
?Work.? Tetsu said, getting up. He walked past Hyde and into the bedroom.
Hyde?s fake tiredness disappeared quickly.
?Shit!? He cursed. He also ran into the room. Ken raised an eyebrow and
shrugged.
