Let’s *cough* Practice!

“Oi! Stop!!”

Tetsu exclaimed and everybody stopped.

“Hyde, I don’t think it’ll be a great idea if we continue this practice … I mean … look at your voice …”

“I’m *cough* fine, Tet-chan!”, Hyde smiled at his lover. “I’m fine and we should *cough* continue this practice.”

Tetsu made a face. “Well, I don’t think so.”

“I’m fine!!”, Hyde smiled and then coughed again, a long one.

“Now I really don’t think so …”, Tetsu mumbled and glared at his lover. “Now you sit over there and I’ll get you a glass of water. Maybe some medicine. Ken, please help me?”

“Sure …”, Ken said and walked outside.

Hyde bounced in his chair and tried to look desperate. “Yuki, don’t even think to get a lover like Tetsu. He’s so demanding …”

Yukihiro smiled and tilted his head. “But, you love him …”

“Well yeah I do!”, he smiled and coughed. “He’s so overprotected *cough* and he’s so caring about me *cough* and he’s not forgetting me at all *cough* and he’s not forgetting the band too!”

The drummer sighed. “Yeah …”

“Something’s wrong, Yuki?”, Hyde frowned. *cough*

“Ah! Iie, nan demo nai …”, Yuki smiled and waved his hand. “I … I just envy you for Tetsu … he’s such a great lover, and you shouldn’t let him go …”

Hyde held his breath. “Yuki … I’ve been wanting to ask you this …”

Yukihiro shifted his body uncomfortably. “Uh-huh?”

“Are you … falling in love with Tetsu?”

Yukihiro stared at the ground and frowned.

“I … I don’t know … what makes you think so?”

“I just know … from your attention …”

“Hmm … well … no,” Yukihiro bowed his head.

“You like him …”, Hyde said. “You like him, right?”

Yukihiro blushed. “Okay, maybe I WAS in love with him … but not anymore. Since I saw you with him … you looked so happy and so did he … I just realized that there’s no place for me in Tetsu’s heart … I’m truly happy for you guys.”

Hyde walked to the door and locked the door.

“What are you doing?”

“I want to talk with you,” Hyde seriously said and sat in front of Yukihiro. “Yuki … Before you joined this band … I was with Sakura and everybody can tell that he’s so jealous … I … I finally realized that I love him, not Sakura … that was until …”

<<< “Hyde,” Tetsu said calmly as he rushed into the studio.

Hyde was breathless and showed them the newspaper. “Was it true? He … he really used the drugs??? But why? And why did he have to leave?”

“You’re his lover and you’re really don’t know?”, Tetsu didn’t even sound surprised.

“N – no …”

“Well now you know.”

Hyde gasped and sniffed. “Tet-chan, why did you say that? How come did you say that? He’s our drummer and I don’t want to lose him …”

“But you have to.”

The vocalist cried, hated the disgust in Tetsu’s voice. “Sakura …”

“Even if …”

Hyde looked up. “Huh?”

“Even if Sakura’s gone,” Tetsu looked away. “You still have me …”

Hyde stared at Tetsu in awesome, as if Tetsu is an angel.

Tetsu smiled at him, and suddenly …

He smiled back and felt relieved seeing that smile. >>>

 

“That was …”, Hyde trailed off. “I’m sorry, Yuki … I love him very much …”

“Hey I know!”, Yukihiro smiled and hit him playfully in his arm. “I know that the two of you can’t live without each other and vice versa … I hope I’ll find someone like Tetsu too.”

“You will, Yuki …”, Hyde smiled sweetly. “Hey … now the cough is gone!!”

“Right! Now we can practice again!”

“What the –“

Tetsu’s voice.

“What’s up, Tetsu?”

“Uh … it’s locked.”

“Hyde, Yuki, open up!” Hyde ran to the door and unlocked it.

“Hai hai, gomen ne?”

Tetsu frowned. “What were you guys doing?”

Hyde grinned impishly. “Fucking.”

Yukihiro’s eyes widened. “NO, WE DIDN’T DO ANYTHING!!!”

Hyde laughed and kissed Tetsu’s lips. “I was joking. By the way, the cough is gone and I think we can start the practice again …”

“Are you sure?”, Tetsu frowned.

“Hai! Let’s practice again!”

Ken walked to his guitar and Yukihiro set on his drum.

Hyde walked to the microphone and frowned. “Tet-chan, I’m fine, don’t worry.”

Tetsu sighed and nodded. “Okay, okay, just please be okay …”

Hyde smiled. “HAI!”

Ken fiddled with his guitar and looked up.

“Ready?”

“Hai!”, Hyde punched the air. “Now let’s practice *sneeze*!!!!”

Tetsu, Ken and Yukihiro blinked.

Hyde stared at them. “Oops … *sneeze*”.
