Will
L'Arc~en~Ciel help other singers to compose songs in the
future? Or have tried it before already?
At
this moment, we still want to make songs for ourselves.
Do
you know you have a lot of fans outside Japan?
We
have recieved letters from foreign fans before, but just
know that we do have so many fans till now. Of course I'm
so happy about it.
The
music video of "Driver's High" is very interesting. Whose
idea is it?
I
can't remember who decide the details, but most of the stuffs
were decided by all of us. The story outline was mainly
come from the idea of our member.
Why
the band was called "L'Arc~en~Ciel"? Is the meaning "rainbow"
having any relations between the creation of music and the
attitude towards music?
At
the very beginning, I just liked the pronounciation of this
word. But later, we think that we are quite similar to the
Rainbow.
What's
your habbit while composing songs?
Indeed,
I need a guitar, a recorder and sofa.
I
need a recorder. I used to stay in my room or driving on
the street if I've got any inspiration.
Did
you like singing when you were children? Do you have any
favourite singer?
I
hate the music lessons at school. But I like listening songs,
the Heavy Metal is my favour.
I
hate music lessons too. But I like singing very much. I
always keep on singing when I'm working, no matter what.
It's
still his habbit nowadays.

You
prefer outdoor live or indoor live? And why?
I
like outdoor live more at this moment and then comes the
indoor one. Because the atmosphere of the outdoor live is
so nice.
What
will you busy for after the Live Tour?
After
this propaganda trip, we will continue to record the new
single. And then we will give all of you a great surprise
during the important point during 1999-2000. *smile*
The
song "Pieces" is quite special among other works of L'Arc~en~Ciel.
Actually, have you ever thought that it will become so popular?
When
this song was composed, we were very confident since we
thought it's good and felt satisfied.
Grand
Cross Tour has attracted more than 100,000 audience. What
do you feel?
They
seemed to create the horizon, so powerful!
Since
tetsu likes animations so much, do you have any collections
of them? And which one you like most between Gundam and
Evagelion?
I
like both of them. If there's no Gundam, there's no EVA.
Although Gundam is the work of 20s, it's still touching
and it's a very good cartoon. Actually, I'll collect all
their stuffs.
Who
suggested the name "L'Arc~en~Ciel"? And was there anything
interesting while making the decision?
At
first I think its pronounciation is nice and the logo looked
cool as well. Although it's hard to read, the impression
was good and I like it very much.
As
hyde likes animations and comics very much, which one is
your favour recently? Can you introduce it to us?
I'm
playing the game which feeding the goldfish in the TV. I
see it grows everyday. Very happy ne!

Do
you have anything to tell Hong Kong fans?
Hope
that we can hold a concert here as soon as possible. See

Before
having the good preformence, I hope that I can taste more
nice food in Hong Kong.
Would
you tell us something about the new single?
We
have composed a simple song before comming to Hong Kong.
Usually we will write a simple song before recording. We
still don't know if it will sound better day after day.
But I'm sure it will be a good song when it's put in the
recording room. *laugh*
Since
tetsu has come to Hong Kong before. What's your impression
on Hong Kong? Do you have time to go shopping this time?
And where will you go for shopping?
Really
want to go shopping! The most different thing of Hong Kong
is the airport. (Looking through
the window while thinking about where he wants to go shopping
^^")
We
know that hyde used to drawing pictures and comics, will
you release your works in the future?
I
have some works which are shown in Rockin, Roll News Maker
( a japanese magazine ), maybe I will release some single
books later.
