decide WHICH answer given by WHICH bureaucrat is correct, and they'll be
dammed if there going commit to anything, and put it in writing!

A man wanted for attempted murder was shot and killed by police
yesterday afternoon outside a crowded Tim Hortons Doughnut Shop parking
lot in Bradford, a small town north of Toronto. According to reports, the
man had been wanted by police in connection with the shooting of a 39-year-old
Bradford man outside a bar on Saturday morning. The original victim was
shot during an argument outside the Trophy Case Tavern. He remains in critical
condition. (If this fellow has already shot someone,
the police (and anyone else) would have every right to defend themselves
when the suspect is seen suddenly reaching into a bag for 'something'.
Particularly someone dumb enough to try and avoid the police by heading
for a doughnut shop..duh!..

can't be restricted
The right of self-defense cannot be abridged. It cannot be restricted
or prohibited. This right has been granted to every living thing by a higher

Mr. Copeland said some judges are growing frustrated
with what he called the "everybody gets charged" approach. "A lot of them

Study
says fewer deaths caused by medical errors
Two years ago, a scathing report from the Institute
of Medicine said medical mistakes in hospitals kill up to 98,000..Published
in Wednesday's Journal of the American Medical Association , the study
now says the number of deaths caused by medical error is more like 5,000
to 15,000. (Whew...Thats a relief!! NOW,
its confirmed...Doctors only kill 10 times as many people as accidents
with firearms. I guess that's why malpractice insurance is astronomical
compared to the 4 bucks a year I pay for $millions of dollars worth of
liability insurance in case I accidentally injure someone with my firearm.
It looks like the insurance Companies ALSO think gun owner are considerably
less risk than doctors.)
When
Kmart Costs Lives
The fear over public-school shootings is legitimate,
but Kmart's response, even if it is motivated by those attacks, is not.
Since the shootings started in the fall of 1997, 32 students and
3 teachers have been killed in any type of shooting at elementary or secondary
schools, an annual rate of 1 death per 4 million students. This includes
deaths from gang fights, robberies, accidents, as well as attacks such
as the one at Columbine. By contrast, during that same period, 53 students
died playing high-school football. Is Kmart's next response to not
sell any sports equipment? (Kmart 'and their
underwear' left Ontario years ago. I for one don't miss them. The unusual
thing is they are still selling ammunition AND handguns in Alaska.)

been charged with assault with a weapon for throwing a water balloon at
a teacher on the last day of school.(Perhaps
this teacher needed the bath.. Her attitude certainly 'stinks' Why I'll

licence that was "Later" revoked. These Licences were issued to people

or keep the one they currently owned anyway. As of May 31 2001, the CFC
STILL had 341,206 in backlog, and, using the same percentages of refused/revoked
licences, 1043 will be refused, but another 52 will be issued to potentially

AN English backpacker has survived a horror night

for the Montreal Urban Community police said the officer, Constable AndrÈ
Leclerc, was chasing the suspect on foot following a bank holdup when the
man opened fire in the middle of Cathcart Street near Phillips Square.

MONTREAL - A waitress has filed
a damage suit alleging she was used as a human shield when a gunman entered
a restaurant and opened fire on two Hells Angels associates. HÈlËne
Brunet, 32, launched the suit Wednesday against Normand Descoteaux, whom
she described as a Hells Angels sympathizer. Ms. Brunet said she was hit
in the arm and leg by three bullets when Mr. Descoteaux grabbed her as
a shield against the gunman who wounded him and killed Robert Savard, 53.

CALGARY - Brand inspectors say organized crime syndicates
were responsible for about $1.6-million worth of suspected cattle
rustling cases in Alberta last year, with just as many cases going unreported,

here are renewed calls to control urban coyotes after
a Vancouver mother looked up from gardening in her front yard to
see a coyote biting the face of her one-year-old daughter and shaking the
child from side to side. This is the second attack on a child in the area
this month and the seventh incident in the past year. Reports of coyote
attacks on pets are also increasing. (Coyotes
are general pest in most places, and until they are at a 'manageable' level,
there should be a bounty. Preventing them from ravaging a chicken coop

'Rats' of the forest, is another matter altogether Coyotes should be considered

we all know, the world is simply crawling with "competent authorities"
that want more and more of your personal information without the entanglement
of stupid things like warrants, and rights to personal privacy)

United Nations is NOW Protecting Kidnappers, Murderers, and Terrorists.
The world body now admits it withheld from the Israelis
a videotape shot by a member of the UN's 5,660-strong peacekeeping force
the day after the kidnapping, showing two vehicles used by the guerrillas
and several presumed members of Hezbollah, who may be the kidnappers themselves.After
initially denying the tape existed, the UN will now hand it over
to Israel. But it will blur the faces of the presumed guerrillas, making
their identification impossible.(This

worried by spate of killings in downtown area
Superintendent Ron Taverner said he is shocked by
"the level of violence that has taken place,
the number of weapons on the streets, the whole drug
trafficking problem."(Obviously C-68 and the

Doctors
demand more high-tech cancer scanners
The report has doctors demanding that more PET scanners
-- the best tool for catching certain cancers and seeing how far tumours
have spread -- be purchased. There are only two of the high-tech devices
available to cancer patients in Canada. There are about 250 in the
United States. "In the United States now it would be regarded as malpractice
not to do a PET scan on
somebody suspected of possibly having a
lung cancer," said Dr. McEwan, who is also an oncologist at the Cross Cancer

of July 1st 2001, this government has turned more law abiding citizens

to own personal property that may have been handed down from father

Newspapers across America in recent months have reported
increased gun ownership and the lowest crime rate in 30 years - but
they never report these two items together. (Ever
hear of a Hunter being Mugged, while enjoying the sport? No! Gee I wonder

Nope never heard of one being attacked. A few years ago, a local resident
looked out of his farm house, and saw his truck being stolen. He promptly
picked up a gun and shot the front tire causing the thief to end up in
the ditch. He then captured the thief and held him for the police.
The police told him not to mention to the media how he stopped the truck,
because he might be charged with a firearms offence. In Canada, you can
be charged for defending your property. You may win the case, but it will
cost you a fortune in legal fees. THAT is why you don't hear much about
the defensive use of a firearm.)
