A nine-year-old boy was attacked and killed by a pair of wild dingoes
while playing with his brother on a beach on Fraser Island in Australia
today.

A 'Spring Bear' emerging from hibernation is hunting cattle in the Peterborough Ontario area.
It was reported on the CBC this morning the bear had killed two cows and a calf, and the MNR 'Bear Person' was unavailable to investigate. Some of the local folks who have children that walk to school through the wooded area where the bear has been doing his thing, are understandably worried. I'm sure the activists that had the 'other' spring bear hunt shut down, are shocked and amazed to find that Winnie the Pooh could actually be be chowing down on area cows. (Winnie, who will probably be interviewed later this weekend by a farmers bullet, was not available for comment)

The Honourable Mr. Justice John H. Brockenshire of the Ontario Superior
Court of Justice ruled in the Veterans' favour in October 2000 in a decision
that found that the government failed to pay interest on thousands of accounts
that it managed as a trustee on behalf of these veterans, who were too
disabled to manage their own affairs. The federal
government then appealed that ruling.
It might be a good idea
to carry a 'Loaded' shotgun while inspecting your cottage this spring.
It seems as if a couple interrupted a break-in at their cottage in Gravenhurst
yesterday. Police responded to a 911 call by a man who said he had
been shot in the leg and that his wife had been shot in the stomach. The
Armed Intruders left after the shooting, one was later captured by police
and another is said to have escaped by canoe after the shots were fired.
Police and paramedics had difficulty in a timely arrival at the the scene
of the shooting, as the cottage on South Fork Rd. has only one road leading
to it, and it was waterlogged. The Ontario Provincial Police have released
few details of the shooting, or the current condition of the unarmed victims.
It looks like the Liberal Plan is Working.

Boy, Just wait! If the Liberal's wacky plan for gun registration
is not repealed, your registration information will read like a shopping
list for criminals to pick the cream of the crop as far as your firearms
are concerned.
A previous wacky plan for the centralized storage of firearms was
abandoned for security reasons. What the hell is the difference between
THAT, and the centralized storage of the 'locations' of all firearms? The
database will provide a much better selection, and can be casually inspected
for the best firearms possible without the inconvenience of alarms and
dogs found in a centralized storage facility. If the owner objects! don't
worry. The law says he must keep his guns locked and out of reach, and
if he does manage to unlock one, load it, and 'only' wound you..hell,
you can sue him, and win!!!

(1) Joel Silcoff's Law firm represented the Grand-Mere Golf Club during its negotiations with Toronto financier Jonas Prince, who bought(?) Chretien's shares in the golf club in the 1990s.
(2) Judge Silcoff, was appointed Quebec Superior Court Judge by Chretien last June 7.
(3) Judge Silcoff was the Quebec judge who ordered a late-night search, seize and destroy order for documents that may have been at the the house, office and cottage of Francois Beaudoin, (the former president of the taxpayer-funded Business Development Bank whom it was alleged, fired by Chretien for trying to foreclose the loan to the Grand-Mere Inn because Chretien's buddy was not making any payments).
(4) Beaudoin said the raiders took computer files from his downtown Montreal office containing his personal finances, a list of hundreds of his business contacts and the back up memory disc for his personal computer.
Ed Note: C-68 says they can take any "thing" they want, during a search and seizure (even your TV set if they like it..)
