No, I don't own these
characters. But boy if I did…hmmm…
Summer in the South is a beautiful thing, especially at night. A whole
new, intoxicating world emerges from the dark recesses of the night as the last
dying rays of the hot, summer sun disappear from the land. Fireflies begin
to appear, hovering over the ground and in the trees, their glowing golden green
lights twinkling merrily. Tree frogs, crickets, and cicadas began to sing
surprisingly sweet and soothing lullabies. Mimosa, honeysuckle and the
sweet, sweet smell of night blooming jasmine combine to create a heady, sensuous
perfume. And the dense Southern air descends like a thick wool blanket,
with the kind of sticky, oppressive wetness only relieved by cool baths,
freezing cold air conditioning, or a tall glass of ice tea.
It had been one of the hottest days of the year so far. The humidity was
so thick you could practically see the wetness dripping from the motionless air
that hovered over the hot, dry ground. Occasionally a small wind would
stir the oak and maple trees on their property, the rustling of the dry leaves
faintly reminiscent of the crashing of waves on some far distant shore.
However, the air was mostly as still as death, making the day miserable and
sultry.
Michelle’s own hair stuck to the back of her neck as she watched a hot and
covered with sweat Danny walking up the garden path from the kitchen window, a
brown paper bag under each arm. He was returning from town, where he had
gone to collect groceries and other odds and ends they wanted for their
much-needed vacation. She had stayed behind to clean the house and unpack
their clothes. The house being too old to have air conditioning, Michelle
had set up a large fan in the kitchen, but it did little more than stir the
stale, musty air. She was wearing only a tank top and shorts, but she was
still sweaty and very hot.
Danny opened the kitchen door and thumped his bags down on the counter. He
gave Michelle a small peck on the cheek, and then slumped over in a kitchen
chair looking exhausted.
“I'd forgotten how hot it gets down here,” he sighed, reaching out and
taking the cup of ice tea Michelle had been drinking from. He paused long
enough to take a long, deep swallow draining the glass then plucked
it down and sighed again.
Michelle bent over and picked up the bucket of water and suds she had been using
to clean the stove and cabinets. Setting the bucket down in the sink, she
let out a long, heavy breath upwards to send a long, blonde curl flying out of
her sweaty face.
Sitting down beside Danny at the table she said with a sigh of longing, “A
nice, cool bath would be nice…wouldn’t it?”
“Go take one,” Danny answered as he ran his hand through his own
sweat-dampened curls.
Michelle smiled at him. “I have to much work left to do,” she said,
rising from her chair to start putting away the groceries. “Maybe I can
take one later.”
Danny rose and walked over to her. Taking a box of Cheerios in his hand,
he said, “No, go ahead. I can do this. You've been working all
morning.”
Michelle stepped back. “You sure?”
“Yeah,” Danny said with a smile. “Go on!”
“Okay,” Michelle said, grateful for the break. Hurrying out of the
room she sprinted up the stairs to their bedroom. Opening her still-to-be
unpacked suitcase, she pulled out her favorite, dark red chenille robe and a
pair of fire engine red panties. Making her way around their huge
king-size bed to the master bathroom, she began pulling off her hot, sweaty
clothes and tossing them on the bed.
Entering the bath, she was immediately enchanted - as she always was - by the
coziness of the room. The large and luxurious claw-footed bathtub stood
against the wall, with candles lined along the back waiting to be lit.
Towels had already been laid out - huge, soft ones. The thick rug under
her feet was soft and comforting. The deep green and almond colored walls
both relaxing and calming.
Laying her robe down on the large, high-backed chair that stood in the corner,
Michelle reached over to turn on the water. She sighed with contentment as
she left the silvery, silky water slide over her fingers. Michelle allowed
the tub get full of cool, soothing water and then gently lowered her body into
the peacefulness of the water. Enveloped in the velvety freshness, she
sighed again, her body slowly unwinding and relaxing.
Leaning forward she struck a match and lit the candles one by one, enjoying the
scents of lavender and vanilla as they wafted over her. She leaned back
again and closed her eyes.
The next time she opened her eyes the room was much darker, save the flickering
of the dying flames of her candles. Her vision bleary from sleep,
she looked around the darkened bathroom, her eyes coming to rest on a shadowy
figure sitting in the corner. Even with her unclear vision, she could make
out the shape of her beloved husband, watching her from across the room.
Smiling slowly, she limply raised a hand and waved her fingers at him.
“Nice nap?” he asked, rising from his seat to come closer to her, his eyes
traveling the length of her body. Lowering himself to the floor beside the
tub, he reached out and smoothed tendrils of her hair back from her forehead.
“Mmm hmm,” Michelle answered, smiling softly and dreamily at him, enjoying
the look of love and desire in his eyes as he gazed at her. Sitting up in
the water, she stretched, enjoying the feel of the water as it trickled down her
body. Danny watched each drop as it slid down her body, wanting to reach
out and do the same with his fingers…tongue…and more.
“How long have I been in here?” she asked, reaching from one of the towels.
She laughed when Danny snatched it away and rose to his feet, opening it for her
to step into.
“About an hour,” he answered as she rose from the tub and walked into his
waiting arms. She shivered involuntarily as the cool air met her damp
body. He wrapped the towel around her body and pulled her body close to
his, his hot mouth gently nipping at hers, doing much to warm her chilled flesh.
Over the blood rushing in her ears, she could hear a far off sound a sound
rather like music. “What’s that I hear?” she asked Danny between
kisses and sighs.
“Oh,” Danny said, turning her body with his and leading her out of the room
into their bedroom. “That is just the radio. I flipped it on
before I came in there to get you.”
“I like this song,” Michelle said, as she turned in his arms, again facing
him.
Danny’s hands slowly descended down her back, taking the towel with them and
leaving her naked and vulnerable to his touch. “Umm hmm,” he answered,
his lips lowering to meet the smooth, exposed flesh of her neck. “I
know.”
Down to the earth I fell
with dripping wings
heavy things won’t fly
and the sky might catch on fire
and burn the axis of the world that’s why
I prefer a sunless sky
to the glittering and stinging in my eyes
He lovingly brushed his long, slim fingers down the length of her snowy
white midriff and tipped her body slightly backwards as his mouth moved slowly
lower, first caressing her soft shoulders, then her delicate collarbone.
Michelle moaned softly as his warm, wet mouth closed over the hardened tip of
her breast, his tongue lapping slowly, creating a delicious, burning ache deep
down inside of her. Threading her hands through his hair, she held on for
dear life as he teased one peak then the other.
I feel so light
This is all I want to feel tonight
I feel so light
Tonight and the rest of my life
Just when she was sure she would explode if he didn’t touch her soon, his
mouth moved still lower. Bringing himself to his knees, he leisurely slid
his tongue down the smooth skin of her belly; finally meeting the sensitive spot
Michelle so desperately wanted him to touch. Moaning his name softly,
Michelle felt waves of heat race through her blood, making her feel both
delightfully weak and vibrantly alive. She rocked slightly on her feet,
his hands bracing her body the only thing keeping her on her feet as his tongue
moved faster and faster across the small, hard nub of her very being.
The world exploded into a thousand tiny pieces around her as she finally came,
the rush of warmth at the apex of her thighs a welcome release, yet also
beautifully arousing. Waves of pleasure surged through her body, even as
Danny gently lifted her and carried her over to their bed, his lips tracing a
path down her neck. Not even pausing to pull down the covers, he tenderly
laid her down before him.
Danny rolled so that she lay on top of him. Michelle began to slowly
remove his shirt, kissing each bit of his hot skin as it was exposed to her.
Danny just laid there, enjoying the feel of her scorching hot lips as they
blazed a trail across his skin.
Michelle unbuttoned his jeans and slid the zipper down, tugging hard to remove
them quickly. She worked equally as fast removing his black, silk boxers.
In one fluid movement she took him in her mouth, taking his breath away and
bringing a beautiful smile to his face.
Gleaming in the dark sea
I’m as light as air
Floating there breathlessly
When the dream dissolves I open
Up my eyes I realize that
Everything is shoreless sea
A weightlessness is passing over me
Michelle moved slowly at first, then faster and faster as she brought Danny
closer and closer to the edge. Danny finally pulls her up to his mouth and
kisses her hard, enjoying the feel of her naked body as it lies firmly pressed
to his. Rolling quickly, he pulls her underneath his body and enters her
in one swift movement. His mouth catches her gasp of surprise.
I feel so light
This is all I want to feel tonight
I feel so light
Tonight and the rest of my life
Faster and faster their two bodies moved together. Hands moved,
breaths caught, bodies strained together, becoming one. Danny moved inside
of her slowly, his lips holding on to hers in a slow, passionate kiss.
Feeling so full of him that she was sure she would burst at any moment, she
moved her hips, forcing the tempo to increase. Michelle wrapped her arms
around him, holding on for dear life as the orgasm ripped through her body,
going all the way down to her very toes. Danny came soon after, his
body quivering over hers as the pleasure moved through his own body.
Everything is waves and stars the universe is resting in my arms
Danny collapsed beside her and took her in his arms.
“I love you,” he murmured softly, pressing his lips softly to her temple and
her cheek.
“I love you too,” she whispered back, the tingles in her body subsiding into
a delicious fatigue. And they fell asleep, wrapped in the safety of each
other’s loving arms. Their arms; holding on tightly to their worlds.
