"The kit will use your VW Bug motor and transaxle and a couple of hundred bucks worth of junk yard Rabbit stuff. Our goal is to produce a fast, fun and affordable car, hopefully the least expensive one on the market. We estimate the kit will go for less than $5K total (frame, body, wiring loom, custom made parts, etc). If you do it yourself, you can build it all for less than $7500. If you have it done, it shouldn't cost much more than $10K complete.

The hard top version will have a small split oval rear window (just like an early bug) and gull wing doors like a Mercedes. It will also have a peak running down the center of the body from the nose to the tail. The small window combined with the peak down the center makes it incredibly strong"
