The main body for Queensland Westfields comes as two halves rather than one large piece which must be a real hassle. The join is positioned under the spare wheel and isn't obvious under normal circumstances.
Don't get too concerned about the fit of the panels yet. With this car, nothing just bolts straight up. If its mechanical it is usually half a hole out. Similarly the body needs trimming to achieve an acceptable fit. The photo at right has the cycle guards resting on the front wheels to get the best representation of the look of the finished vehicle. Next the body is stripped off in anticipation of fitting the engine.
