Steve writes from the UK: I have owned both a 2 stoke bullnose SAAB 96 and an Austin A30/35. The Austin felt very basic, it had a top speed of about 55/60mph (eventually) and would roll over if you cornered too suddenly. It was rear wheel drive and gave a bouncy but uncomfortable ride.

The SAAB by contrast had road holding like no other car I have owned and very rapid acceleration. It was fast, comfortable, safe and great fun to drive. I have had a 2 stoke SAAB 96 and 3 V4 SAAB 96's.
