Here's the latest off-road pics! These were taken near Barstow, where we took a quick off-road excursion on the way to Vegas. We still got there in about 4 hours from L.A. too, with the 40 minute detour!
The Jeep is pretty dang rough at 40mph ;) My friend told me the Tacoma is stable at 60mph in places- I guess that's why they don't pre-run Jeeps much!
This hill was actually quite steep. We decided to turn back around when the trail narrowed to roughly the width of the Jeep, and felt quite slippery. I did not feel like rolling over that day! Each side had about a 50 degree drop-off. Bye bye!
I'd imagine it would have ridden much better had I brought the compressor to air-down the tires. We were in a hurry to Vegas anyhow though.. I can't wait for some more off-road this summer!
