Elliot Brick's Case of

The Ms. and the Show Biz Whiz

by Bert Furioli and Butch Maxwell

Broadway. The Great White Way.

The action centers on unscrupulous, shady fast-talker Michael Obits, (below, center, naturally.) He is identified by pop culture pundits as the most powerful agent in show business.

His clients include legendary blues singer Big Mama Johnson (above, left), Dame Loretta LaDiva (second from left), and British actor Sir John Feelgood (second from right.) Even without the poor management of Obits, all three have their problems: Big Mama's main squeeze is known as Daniels - Jack Daniel's. Sir John has a strange form of aural dyslexia causing him to mix up the first consonants of his words. In the middle of this mess (but pictured above on the right) is Private Detective Elliot Brick, the gumshoe with a worn soul who specializes in divorce surveillance and skirt chasing.
