SOUTH AUSTRALIAN OLIVE OILS
South Australia produces some of the finest Olive oils. These are a few of the ones we stock.
Joseph Olive Oil
Joseph first (cold) press extra-virgin olive oil is made by Joe and Dina Grilli, the owners of Primo Estate wines. The Joseph label is simply used to state that the contents of the bottle it adorns, whether it be wine or olive oil, are regarded as being something special.
The olives come from groves near their winery at Virginia and around the foothills of Adelaide. They are grown and harvested by people who are sympathetic to what Joseph olive oil is meant to be and who are prepared, for example, to forego quantity for quality and to pay particular attention to the right degree of ripeness.
Maroudas Olive Oil
This is made by Mr Peter Maroudasd who is a member of the International Committee of Oil Produces, a cultivator of large area of olive trees,. olive producer and processor. His olive grove is situated at Virginia.
Kangaroo Island Olive Oil Co.
This oil is made with olives only grown on Kangaroo Island and is produced by Daniel and Sue Pattingale and recently won the Champion Australian Extra Virgin Olive oil prize at the Recent Show in Sydney.
Jane Ferrari Olive Oil
