Hi folks. I'm the newest addition to
the Feather Foot / Muffin household, and although I'm only a tiny kitten,
I have a few things I'd like to say about myself.
I was locked up in a cage for about a week, with heaps of people coming
in and out of the pet shop, playing with me because I was cute as a bean,
but then they would leave. I'd almost given up until Feather Foot
came in. I heard her talking to the fella she was with, promising
she was only going to look and nothing more. But I thought "what
the heck - I'll give it my best shot". So I put on the performance
of my life, looking cuter than I ever had, and sure enough IT WORKED !!!
She took me home :)
I started to get a little worried when they were discussing what to call
me. First it was "Donut", and then "Lammington" but finally they
decided on something I was eventually happy with........"Bambi" :)
Now in the time it took for us to get from the pet shop to Feather Foot's
house NOT ONCE did she mention that a great black giant beast lived there.
She calls this beast "Muffin". Wow......he is absolutely HUUUUUGE
!!! And he has the roar of a lion. I really look up to him
(yes...literally) and when I get big I want to be just like him :)
Muffin was carried into a room, and not too happy about it I might add,
and then brought back out in his carry box, so he couldn't hurt me.
The first thing Muffin said to me was "LISTEN BUDDY - THIS IS MY
HOUSE !!". I explained as nicely as I could that it was mine too
now and boy did I get an earful after THAT. Muffin decided to play
the staring game with me, which is so much fun, so I decided to join in
happily. I sat right in front of his carry box and smiled and winked
at him. But unfortunately I lost the game. That fella that
Feather Foot was with started patting me on the back and I fell asleep.
Oh well, maybe next time *grin*
Anyways, after all that babbling - time to describe myself. I'm approximately
10 centimeters high and....ummmm.....ok. See the picture to the left?
That's me - wings and all. I'm a little angel :P
I did, however, learn the first law of the house a couple of hours after
I arrived. That law is "never use Feather Foot's arm to claw myself
up to where I want to go". I think it was the first time I saw Muffin
smile (only a little) but it was a start. I reckon after a little
while he might see an advantage or two of having me around.
Muffin has been talking about this cat called Garfield, that apparently
he reads alot and absolutely worships. He was telling me about some
of the stuff Garfield gets up to and he sounds pretty grumpy, but Muffin
likes him so I won't complain too loud. And today he called me "Nermal"
whatever that means. I'm going to have to ask about that one.
Maybe it's a term of endearment or something :)
Anyways that's all from me for now. I'll update my page when I get
a little older. After all, I am ONLY 6 WEEKS OLD at the moment.
