Safety Tips
for children

Walk on sidewalks, not in the street. Look both ways before crossing the street. Cross the street only at corners. Wear reflective type clothing so you are more visible. Carry a flashlight to light your way. Visit only homes that have the porch lite on. Accept your treat at the door and never go into a stranger's house. Use face paint rather than a mask for better vision. Be cautious of animals and strangers. Don't eat candy if the package has been opened. Obey all traffic lights.

Safety Tips
For Parents

Serve a nourishing dinner just before your little goblins go out and they won't be tempted to sample the treats before you can inspect them. Costumes should be of flame retardent material with reflector strips. Remove all objects from lawns, doorways, etc. Have your house well lit both inside and out. Review all of the tips with your children.
