Crock pot Apple Butter Posted by Mary Ann
4 Quarts Apples, peeled, thinly sliced (I used Granny Smith) 4 Cups Sugar 3/4 Teaspoon Ground Cloves 3 Teaspoons Cinnamon 1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar 1 Dash Salt
Mix everything together in a crock pot, turn on low for 12-14 hours. Leave in crock pot and mix with mixer. Turn crock pot on high and get boiling hot. Keep on high while filling jars. Water bath for 10 minutes. Makes 5 pints.
