                           Canned pepper steak

   4      lbs.          london broil -- sliced very thin
                        about 1/2 inch wide by 4 inches long
  12                    green bell peppers -- sliced thin
   6      large         onions -- sliced into thin
                        rings
                        garlic salt to taste
   4      cans          chopped tomatoes and juice.
                        lightly saute beef -- onions, and bell
                        peppers together until
                        meat is just barely pink. Add garlic salt
                        to taste and the
                        tomatoes with juice. Heat to boiling and
                        fill hot quart jars
                        with pepper steak mixture to within 1/2
                        inch of the top of the
                        caning jars. put on lids and rings and
                        process at 10 pounds
                        pressure for 90 minutes.
