Dear
Friend:
There was something about the 50s that will
always be part of my music and that is
"Honesty". I grew up in the 50s and I
loved the blues. The blues and rockabilly music
has always been a part of me.
This was the first chance I've had as a song
writer and artist to get into that music since my
"Penitentiary Blues" album. It's much
than what I'm doing today. But still part of me.
I hope you see the movie, but even if you don't
that album can stand on it's own.
Also, the hard back edition of my book "Just
for the Record" is available in limited
edition for ten dollars. If you want to order the
book or one of my other albums or T-shirts please
write to me or Meme Coe at Route #1, Box 610 B,
Big Pine Key, Florida, 33043.
Thank you,
David Allan Coe
ex-convict
PS: Please do not send me song poems or tapes as
I'm doing all original material for a while and I
just don't have time to listen to them or the
money for postage to return them.
