David's Poems...

Crystal Ball

If into a crystal ball, my eyes could look someday
I'd not look for new found wealth, but only words to say
Words to make you feel and touch, words to make you hear
That love from me glows brightly now, love for you my dear

Sadly sometimes feelings lie, and twist around one's head
With love one never knows what's best, to say or leave unsaid
So till I find my crystal ball, and peer inside its sphere
The only words I really say, are those to keep you near

Her

She wants;
the smoldering look across a room
the tender touch that makes her cry
the smiling laugh from deep inside
the sound of love that never dies
She needs;
the ever changing song of life
the truthful heart that makes her strong
the warm embrace which makes her weak
the knowledge that her love is real
She waits;
for one who's ache is for her touch
for one who's laugh can make her feel
for he who's strength flows out to her
for that which life, new meaning brings

Two

To teach to learn
Two shades of a color
As one imparts, one grows
And in that growing, two learn
That one alone cannot teach,
It takes two
To learn to teach
