I BELIEVE IN FAIRIES

I have no doubts of Fairy Queens
who reign amongst the woodland greens
and hold court beneath lilac blooms
and weave dreams on gossamer looms---
of Fairy Maids, with silken wings,
fluttering over crystal springs,
pirouetting with lightning bugs
and blest by chastely elfin hugs.
I have no doubts, for I have seen,
through childhood eyes, the magic scene!
