A DOLPHIN'S KISS

He swim's with the crested wave, forever moving on,
Gliding on the waters top, so slick and full of grace.
Majesticlly at one with life, his search is never done,
His searching fill's a need inside, to find his resting place
For many day's and many night's, his quest has been so long,
His knowledge ever growing, as the week's turn into year's.
His memory recall's on time's, some moment's made him strong,
While other's left a painfull scar, an ocean full of tear's.
Yet deep inside he hide's the pain, so other's cannot see,
And keep's on moving on with life, in way's that he must do.
A universe of feeling's and emotion's keep him free,
While holding to a heart of gold, so warm and ever true.
His life has grown much shorter since his day's from long ago,
His needs become much greater as his loneliness prevails.
He searches deep for answers to a question he should know,
Too confident to see the truth, too scared in case he fail's.
He lives his life from day to day, just floating to and fro,
His hopes and dreams go on unseen, his future all in doubt.
The time he found a heaven, and the time he let it go,
To realise this painfull truth has turned him inside out.
For there was time not long ago, where life was good at last,
He found a part in someone's heart, and found a love so pure.
Too blind to see the moment till it slipped into the past,
It's only now he is aware of thing's he wasn't sure.
An enless life of searching, just to leave it all behind,
A wounded heart will play a part in where he goes from here.
His search is all but over, for he know's he'll never find,
A love to take the place of all he had and held so dear.
So many more tomorrow's, and so few from yesterday,
An ocean full of nothing, and a lifetime left to swim.
No memorie's or moment's are so precious as the one's,
As when you walked and shared your life with him.
No smile is long forgotten, or the gleam within your eye,
Your character and beauty alway's there.
Your laughter and your whisper's and the time's that you would cry,
The thought in alway's knowing that you care.
He swim's his way along the wave's, reliving what he lost,
And hang's on to a tiny thread of hope.
He look's at how he messed it up, while counting up the cost,
and look for some solution how to cope.
Your face is all direction's, your voice blow's in the wind,
In everything he does, you play a part.
If only he could find a way of taking back his chance,
And try to play it over from the start.
With nothing left to break his fall, and nothing left to loose,
He face's up to what he must do know.
With no more easy option's, and no chance's left to choose,
He has to find solution's as to how,
How once again he could remain beside you heart to heart,
No looking back on all the time's he'll miss.
To be once more, just like before, forever not to part,
To bring you in a wish, a dolphin's kiss
